AUCTIVA HELP - NO IMAGES AGAIN

Sorry, my bad! Hundreds of listings later...I think I used up all the space...

Mine simply aren't loading, which may explain why they're not loading when I'm creating listings.

I am really freaking out. My images are not showing either! I just moved a whole bunch of stuff from my store, and just noticed no pictures!!

Why in the world would anyone want to buy my stuff when they don't even know what it looks like? Please help...

I am retrying them and some of them are loading EXTREMELY slow but then only 1 out of 4 on an auction will load so something is DEFINITELY wrong here. The only time I have problems with images is when there's a problem with Auctiva.

I checked the Image testing post in the Forum and see no images from #3 #4 and #5. My listsing are no images too. I'm guessing that's down servers.

Not only the images are missing, all my SAVED LISTINGS gone kaput as well. It's 4:30pm, the best time to launch.... oh well...

I'm really glad Auctiva switched their servers so there wouldn't be any more problems...

Had the same problem with Saved Listings earlier in the afternoon, but did manage an update after about five attempts.

This looks like the problem that was a "memory" issue a few months back.

My guess it is bad servers again as usual. Anytime ebay has a special Auctiva can't handle it for 2-4 days so don't get your hopes up.

I just listed 200 items and no images and no showcase ... so much for instant sales or any sales!!

If I remember right they broke down during CHRISTMAS and Valentine's Day. Of course they broke down more than that but that was the main holidays

No images. The first 4 show in my list of images and the rest of the others are all pizza boxes.

I LOVE how this always happens on a cheap listing day... so much for relisting my items for 10 cents...

I CAN'T LIST. It takes so long to get my saved images to load!! Help. Maybe will have to list straight on Ebay.

I wish someone from Auctiva would respond so at least we know they know there's a problem and are working on it.

That's great vintage, wish I could say the same, all of mine are still completely GONE.

What is going on!? I am sick of this, no wonder this sight is free, you can never get anything posted on high traffic days. So much for Auctiva's switching their web hosts a few months back. It didn't help! Anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem?

It is not just on high traffic days. They have had nothing but problems since "upgrading" to their new servers. I have not had pictures in my store window more often than not and now my regular lisitng pictures are taking forever to load. Buyers simply don't wait. No wonder my sales have dropped off the last 3 days!!

eBay has a sale on Listings going on today. You're right, Auctiva is ill-equipt to handle high traffic. So, wait until the sale is over. . . tomorrow. What else can you do?

If there are no pics...the buyers move on...

Is anyone from Auctiva EVER going to address this? Every single time eBay has a listing sale, we have NO images. Hello Auctiva staff...any plans to fix the recurring problem? I stayed with the service ONLY because the new servers were supposed to fix this, but I'm not willing to put up with this much longer even if you paid me.

I can't simply wait until the listing sale is over. I run an ebay store and depend upon daily income. If my new or returning customers can't see my pictures, they simply go on to one of my many competitors. Today I asked Auctiva why I couldn't list the item's condition to get my merchandise on the new ebay express. Their response was

They knew ebay express was coming for months but didn't prepare?

I can no longer use Auctiva now because of this if I want my items also listed on ebay express.

No images here, either, for all auctions ending tonight...except for 1 listing.

After my last listing ends tomorrow, I'm afraid I'll have to revoke my token and go to a pay site. I do not have the patience for this.

Times a ticking...

I have no images at all when viewing from a fresh browser that does not have my images cached, and I am having problems logging into Auctiva, and the spinning thing showing the auctions sits there saying "Loading Images" the whole time when using a fresh browser. WHAT IS GOING ON??? WHERE ARE MY PICTURES??!?!?!?!?

Item Condition is part of Items Specifics. Fill that out after selecting your category. If the item is elligible for eBay Express it will show there automatically, we don't control whether it does or doesn't up there.

Really though this is a thread for complaining about images. Please create another thread to ask about Item Condition and eBay Express because I think the support person who replied may have answered in correctly.

I have no images either. I am hoping that they come back soon. I was trying to relist somethings - and I can't. I have already rescanned some items and luckily some I had in the bucket - but others - no such luck.

I can't sign into Auctiva through the homepage either. It's not loading properly.

MY AUCTIONS END SOON! I count on last mintute bids~!!!!!!!

Bouncing Bubba-The friendly prompt service did not address anything about the image problems....friendly, prompt for that question, but what about the other questions?

Crazy Kitty: You can have your Auctiva Listings show up in eBay Express. Go to My eBay and check all of the listings you want to include in eBay Express and then at the bottom of the page you'll see Edit. Click on that and on the next page you'll choose either bulk or individual item edit and the things you want to edit. eBay checks a few for you, including condition, and all of the upgrades. I pick individual edit if the condition is different for each item or bulk edit if they are the same. Very easy and the items show up almost instantly. Try it with one item first. It's easy.

So, does noone else notice AUCTIVA JEFF was in here? Why no answers? I have auctions ending...boo hoo...

OK, so far I have loved Auctiva when I have been able to use it. It really is great for a free service, however, now the FREE service is causing me to loose money.

So if a pay service does not cause me to loose money - will I not come out even????

Seriously - There is a way around the problem that I've relied on in past auctions. If you are able to edit your Description section of your auction page on eBay, you can copy your image from your computer and paste it in the text area of your ad.It doesn't replace the gallery image - but at least you'll have something.

You're right ~ this is MOST discouraging. Everybody has problems, but when they affect many other people who depend on them, the courteous thing to do would be to provide a small, polite update?

Someone messed up the images. They were trying to add 2 more to speed things up but it ended up messing up all the rest of the ones that were working fine.

I've spent a lot of money on tons of new equipment. That isn't the issue, nor is bandwidth. We have an execution problem. I've been doing a lot of cleanup in that area as well recently. We've been adding employees, and adding more structure to make sure we become more reliable, all the time. Today was a breakdown in that. We'll fix that and we'll fix the other issues and I will make sure going forward that Auctiva becomes the most reliable site available.

Ok none of my images are showing!!!! Any idea on how long this is going to take? Am I better off ending all my listing that don't have bids and relisting using plain old ebay?????

BTW, still only have little red x's in over 800 listings!! Really not a good way to get sales.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I'm just putting my pics in photobucket and going that route tonight. Too much aggravation.

How many of you filed a support case? While I am not thrilled about my missing photos, slow loading listing pages and other issues that continue to thwart my progress, Brandon responded to my support case immediately.

I know things don't work perfectly here, but please file support cases as well as posting here.
I think things get resolved much quicker that way.

That was just this time. I have filed each time my store window loses pictures, which lately, has been 4 days out of the week. This is the first time I have lost all pics since the server fiasco. I was supposed to have been given priority status, yeah!?

I'm not trying to get on anybody for NOT filing a case. I just found that after mine was responded to, a post was also made here as well.

My images are still not showing. I guess some will take longer than others. This is very frustrating.

Mine just miraculously reappeared! I checked a fellow eBayers who lives in California and hers were fine. But I just refreshed and they are there now! Thank goodness!

Unfortunately mine aren't. Servers 3 4 and 5 are showing the red X. Any guess when they are going to be back up?

Yep, here we go again with the PITB can't do anything but we were moving to new servers to fix all this stupidity. Ugh so frustrating. I can't do a darned thing. Once again, wasting my time with this.

Just read the note. At least they are big enough to own up to the mistake & it wasn't a server error and I've got to applaud them for that. Hey, I did software testing for a company that developed software for travel agencies, expedia.com, aa.com etc....I still would like to know what their QA process is before deploying new versions. I still believe that is a big huge part of their problem is they are not properly testing the app before release.

I can't get to images or listings either. My pictures came back, disappeared, came back again and have disappeared again. I guess some servers are still down.

I waited 3 hours and now I am back and so are the pictures. Showcase windows are still not working but I guess that is another matter that will be addressed now since it has been 3 days on that one
