I've had several buyers have trouble using the Auctiva Checkout lately. Here is the latest email:

Hi, Mitzi. I have been trying to pay you for more than 30 minutes. It keeps telling me that my session has expired. I made several payments with Paypal today and had no problems. Maybe Auctiva is having a bad day. Anyway, I'll try later tonight and, if I'm unlucky, I'll try again tomorrow. Grrrrrr. Sally

Is there a known issue that is being worked on? If I turn off Auctiva Checkout, will all my current listings revert eBay Checkout or only new listings?

Thanks,
Mitzi

Hi Community,

We were having a technical problem with one of our checkout servers back when the initial posted created through thread, but I am not aware of any technical problems that would cause buyers to have trouble going through Auctiva Checkout at this time.

However, if anyone would like to disable Auctiva Checkout, you can do so by first mousing over the "My Account" tab within Auctiva and selecting the "Auctiva Checkout" option under "Settings". You would then want to uncheck the box next to "Use Auctiva Secure Checkout" on the ensuing page and click the "Save Settings" button.

If you were to disable this setting, any listings you post moving forward will use eBay Checkout but any active listings that you had already posted through Auctiva while the Auctiva Checkout setting was enabled will continue to be processed through the Auctiva Checkout system.

Also, in case any of you are not aware of this already, eBay recently announced that they will be doing away with third party checkout by the middle of next year. You can read more about this on the following thread of our community forum: https://community.auctiva.com/e...41021901/m/218101515

Hi JeansBoutique,

The issue with one of our checkout servers that I alluded to in my previous post to this thread was something that occurred at the beginning of this month and it was addressed long ago. I am afraid I'm not aware of any current issues that would prevent your buyers from being able to checkout successfully.

I just looked over your Transactions page and, while I see a couple unpaid transaction from the last couple days, almost all of your items that have been sold recently have already been paid for.

Since we cannot attribute the problems these buyers are having while trying to checkout to anything amiss on our side of things, your best bet is probably to contact those buyer's through eBay's messaging system and arrange payment outside of checkout, perhaps by using the Money Request feature on the Paypal website.

My buyers are still having problems checking out. I get at least an email every two days from someone who says they get the same error and time out when using the auctiva checkout. You guys have giving me instructions on how to inform my customers how to turn off their cookies which will fix it. But I am losing a large amount of business through unpaid items.
