I'm wondering if I want to list my items thru eBay rather than Auctiva can I design my listings in Auctiva, copy (somehow) the entire listing's html and then paste that into eBay's listing form, and also host my photos thru Auctiva? I really like designing my page thru auctiva but I'm considering this because it's frustrating how long it takes for my listings to appear in eBay (6 hours at least)when I list thru Auctiva. I'm only a tad bit familiar with html so a "..for dummies" response would be appreciated Smile

It's not Auctiva that makes your listings so slow. It's ebay. In fact I have sold on ebay since 99 but just started useing Auctivia this year. OMG Besides creating being soo much simpler and free pics.. I have found on average the auctiva listing post much sooner than regular ebay created auctions. IE last night I did a purse, and it was up in 10 mins.. NOw I ma sure this isn't the norm because Ebay is the one who actually controlls the listing time..
(don't bother writing to them you will get no where)

But I will say, that since useing Auctiva I have cut my listing time in less than 1/2.
I was afraid to use it all this time now I M kicking my back side for not having used it sooner!!!!
Whether you use Auctiva or Ebay or anyone else. 'indexing' time will be about the same. I listed 32 items thru Auctiva Tues. night and each one took an average of 2 minutes to be searchable. I keep hearing about a class action lawsuit pertaining to this long index period, so maybe Ebay is changing their ways...one can only hope!
I've used Auctiva for so long I don't even know how to use Ebay's SYI form Wink
Wow! Two minutes would be great. I've listed a batch 3 hours ago and still waiting. I know that eBay support told me once that it had nothing to do with the fact that I was listing through another source but I'm not convinced - typically all the listings indexed around me are almost immediate. I know when I used eBay to list before it was always very fast. But you're right - I'd have to re-train also! LOL. Thanks for the comments
Yes - I'm sure it's eBay as well. And I have talked to them and you're right - they said my listing through another source had nothing to do with it. Right! I've cut my listing time down using Auctiva as well- and I love using it but I'm consistently 6 hrs plus before eBay indexes me. I try to drive visitors to the Auctiva store page every way I can but I'm still not hitting eBay's "newly listed" searches when I want to - that's why I'm trying to find the best of both worlds. Thanks for the comments Smile
No one was more surprised than me that my listings showed up so soon. However, I HAVE had them take up to 12 hours which is totally unacceptable. So either way, IT IS NOT AUCTIVA, it is Ebay, for anyone reading this....Smile
BTW, does anyone have a link to info on this alleged class action lawsuit mentioned above?? Just wonder if it's for real, or just rumor. I'm going to see if I can find something about that...
