Ebay Express ... Preview

I solved my problem, I closed both my storeas so now there is nothing listed on Express!

I think its time for me to venture out on my own website for the lingerie and move the other ID completely to eCrater for now.

Sales have been dead and I'm tired of wasting $30 a month just to have my stores

Good luck Wham. There have been sales on EE as I read on their discussion board. Only one reported so far. If I could afford to get a web site done, I wouldn't be there either.

well, none of my items showing on express yet (and i have item condition set, paypal set to ask, opted in, etc)

dunno if this is a good thing or a bad thing, though *chuckle*

I happen to have a very talented friend that also has a resale thingie with their own host. If it weren't for that fact right there I would never be brave enough to try my own website.

Plus it is cheeper then having an ebay store and no listing or FVF. So that money can be spent on advertising

Does anyone know how to tell if you have had an EE sale? Reading on the EE board, there is no way. I'd be willing to bet somone here has figured it out.

i think i figured out why ebay was not putting my items in express. cause i have been using auctiva's checkout system (duh!)

i hate to give up auctiva's checkout, i really like getting sales through my merchant account instead of paypal, but guess i'm going to try the express thing for a bit and see how it goes (which means no auctiva checkout)

Well, before you do that Steve..

I've been with customer support over at Express because only a small amount of my auctions are showing up..

ESPECIALLY NOTE THE BOTTOM SCRIPT FROM HELP regarding Paypal payments requirements!

Isn't there any way that engineering can work on getting this done without sellers having to revise so many auctions. Or make an announcement that this is happening.

So how do you tell if your item is sold on EE or not. My items are showing up, but don't know if there is a way to track EE sales as opposed to regular site sales.

I am told by CS that when you receive a notification of payment, it will indicates payment from an email address, not a customer ID and the line below that will contain an authorization #. They are working on it. We'll see.

Man, I don't think I'll be touching Express for quite a while. It's like when a pharma company rushes a new drug out to market. If you people want to test it, more power to you!

I'm up to about 70 of my 400+ auctions at EExpress.

I initially stepped back and was going watch everyone else..but I couldn't stand it. I had to get into the mix. <smile>

Once I have a sale, I'll let everyone know.
