I guess they went and hired some of the people that ebay laid off. Wink Seriously though, was just an effort to help out some people who seemed frantic about continuing their business income - as me for one - they should be a little more helpful in this event so we can carry on and keep our listings going - and not thru ebay's BORING listing layout which doesn't offer much except ways to steal more money out our pockets...good luck all and Happy Sales to you.... and yes I wonder why they are sitting here monitoring our writings instead of getting this thing up and moving. Confused

I am sitting here - wondering what I missed. Oh well. I am looking into some other programs to work until this is all fixed. I can't NOT list.

But, I do have a question. I put some pictures up Friday and I think Thursday. Are they safe? If I get shut down by Ebay, I am financially up a creek. At this time, 50% of my income is Ebay. I opened a store so I can move away from Ebay or at least reduce my Ebay reliance. But, I can't do that now either.

I really hope all this is fixed soon. Auctiva is great. Even with a few 'bugs', I love it. That, and it will take too long for me to learn another program.
In June, I will be losing a HUGE part of my family income. And I will have college tuition to pay for in August. I know, pretty much, down to the amount of listings that I need to everyday to make a certain amount. If I get sick or one of the kids get sick, that is a day's worth of $$ gone. Unless, I don't sleep, I can't make up what I lost. So, with only a couple of months to increase my income, this is a huge blow! And I am sick to my stomach - trying to find time to make up the past couple of days. But, I am going to have work longer each day until I can catch up. I guess, on the bright side of all this, we just moved my workshop (since I couldn't list) and I need to get it organized before I can make soap and candles. So, I spent today working on that.

But, I imagine there are ALOT of people that use Auctiva and Ebay is their only income. And I don't envy them.
Good Morning..After I got done writing a looooooong informative letter last night under my other id (for selling 4 aliving) then went to post the message and it said that it will have to wait to get posted till administrators are able to look at it and approve it...Umm this is the first... What the heck? Is this something a newbie has to go through or what? Did I say something wrong or is there a limit on posts a day??? As I see the other persons of this same post are able to write..ohhh now I see this post was edited in the beginning.. title and all..huh thats wrong very wrong wrong wrong.. I now have found the original thread that we were on..and it was comepletely edited..very sad.. I know will be copying this..

this is what is posted now in auctiva news forum, as of now .. https://community.auctiva.com/e...?r=92410481#92410481

so they haven't said if its back up and running as of today

Will be going to the ebay rooms soon "whiz"
to see EXACTLY what others have to say.... but yet.... doesn't it seem odd that you can ask questions about auctiva on ebay.. Wink and for it not to be all right here visa versa, since they are kinda competitors with the commerce site...Please do give us the heads up, since I can't find anything here on auctiva...

as it doesn't make sense why my postings along as others are getting deleted...ummmmm Is it only positive thoughts here? Just like ebays forum This is a community board ...I see from other elite/whiz auctiva members say what they want & they are still having the problem with virus 's and are really upset.. I wonder why there posts are not getting edited..

Until this year, I was kinda limited as to how much I could do. My two youngest are 3 & 4. So, not the ideal age of dragging them any of these things. I don't like leaving them with someone without a car - just in case. My husband works on Saturday. And my oldest is always on the go. But, my 15 year will be getting his licenses in a few months.

I am hoping to be able to do our farmer's market when it starts. And there are several fairs and festivals. The only one I am ever able to do is the one our little town does. And it is held pretty much in my front yard. My wax dipped bears and wickless candles fly off the table. The soap does well with the amish too. I want to do the Iowa State fair one of these days. But, it is 2 hours from me. So, I will have to stay up there. I am doing a festival this August that has about 50,000 attendance.

And we have a school carnival in April and an auction for our library. I always donate 3-4 baskets, which has gotten some sales. This summer, our band went to Florida. The kids were responsible for their own fundraising. So, my daughter took a bunch of my stuff and did donation only. She did this at our farmer's market for a month. She made enough for both of us to go. I have about 10 buyers who buy once a week now.

And then every two weeks, my step mom has an average of a $50.00 order. And when I start making liquid soaps and lotions, it will go up. Just need to pay off as many bills as I can before June - just in case - I can't build up my income.

I also do labels and invitations. And with my daughter graduating this year, I did hers. And we have some samples at the local party store. I know the lady that owns it. It's not much money. But, it is enough to have gas money for 2 vehicles each week.

So, I have some plans. Just trying to get the Ebay stores (I have 2) built up more. And then I will focus solely on my website.

I did check my pictures on Ebay. They are all fine. I just don't know too much about a virus.

Been a stressful weekend! My daughter reminds daily of how many days until graduation, which also how many days I have to replace the money I will be losing.

Thanks for offering to help. I will definitely keep it in mind.
