IMAGE ERROR MESSAGE WHEN LISTING

Hi,

Usually, that message is an indication you did a copy and paste of an image you have on your computer directly to the description box in the one-page lister. That method won't work.

You need to upload the image to Auctiva and then use the Insert an Auctiva Hosted Image icon on the description editor toolbar (bottom row at right).

We heard back from support last night & they said the same thing. Only thing is that all of our images are uploaded directly from our computer to Auctiva using the Auctiva uploader. We also use the same profiles on all listings & this morn ing 1 will upload & the next wont without doctoring the html. They told us to go in & delete the html up to the description.

Do you do any copy and paste to the description box (or to create the profiles)? If so, are you using the paste tools on the toolbar?

hi- this is the same listing we have been usaing since June. All of a sudden we are getting errors. have tried list w/ ie 8 &firefox, also vista & xp. same issue not matter what we use.

I have a suggestion.

Use the HTML export feature for one of the listings from the Saved Listing page and copy - paste it to www.practicewriter.com as example. Then post the link that practicewriter creates back to this Forum thread.
