I received this advice from the Auctiva Help guys and it worked perfectly, all of my Ebay categories are now on Auctiva and can be added at the listing stage. Hope this helps!

Thanks for contacting us regarding this matter, and I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Your eBay store categories are generally updated in Auctiva about every 6 hours. You can also do this manually by going to Auctiva -> My Account (tab) -> eBay Settings -> Update Store categories from eBay and they’ll be imported immediately.

In case you have any further queries then please revert back to us.

Thank you,
Auctiva Support

Just as an added note, my categories have never automatically updated to Auctiva. I'm going to assume that you have to do it manually the first time and after that Auctiva takes over with keeping them updated. At least I hope this is the case.
Finally! It takes a lot of reading on both ebay and auctiva but I finally got it! the categories are there but won't show up until you put something in them, this is what I was told.
Problem was they had never been updated within ebay. Once that was corrected woohoo we are off and running. So just select your category and once it has something in it, it will show up. Contact ebay live if you are still having problems, which is exactly what I did. and thanks for the responses, the forums are much more informative, you guys speak my language Smile
Hi again, Don't give up yet, I spout and then read! I think I have it backwards. Do not give up. My sales have increased by 50% since joining Auctiva. I'm not sure where we are now visible, but we are, ask Auctiva that directly. the other thing is to make sure the link is available, I sent it to all my friends and relatives and they in turn send it to theirs.
The store itself is confusing to me and I will need to ask, I purchased a domain name, when I tried to use it I got a message saying it was already owned! well of course it is I paid for it. Smile Read all the forums on stores it took me a while to realize that Auctiva doesn't set up a separate store, it is really still an ebay store just handled differently.I went in and changed my store name on ebay and sent out the link to everyone. Folks are still shopping so I guess its ok, and if that isn't confusing enough....sorry SmileNow I'm just plain rambling
