I just manually checked a TON of listings that we launched with the last 10 minutes and ALL images are working. One of our image servers may be having an issue, but I need to see one of your 'many' item numbers to check the issue and determine root cause.
this has actually been happening intermittently for some time - one minute, pictures, next, all gone. Mad

Also scrolling gallery bar showing no items available for sale when there were plenty. Next time it happens I will post with details of an example item.

In addition, I get intermittent problems getting into Auctiva at all. Just now, 9.28 am uk time so - 1.28 am Pacific time (I think)- I had three attempts, using both WE and Firefox, nothing. Tried 5 minutes later and whiz bang, straight in.

v v frustrating. I like your service, particularly the free bit Big Grin but boy, is this frustrating - and costly, as above.
I am still having the same intermittent problem. At least one point of the day the images do not load! The acutiva website is also down at the time which makes me wonder what link this would have with the image server? II have tried four independent computers and have the same problem on ALL of them. Been trying to get an answer through the forums, and support cases for week’s still no closer. Toady I am starting to look at similar companies to move to as my sales have gone down over 40% in the 4 weeks that I have been with Auctiva, the whole experience has cost me over $300 this month so having to pay $9 a month elsewhere seems like a good deal at the moment.

However if auctiva was to recognize a ‘real’ problem that they could fix then I would still stay as the work to changeover is at least 20 hours for me.
I agree!

It has just happened again. I have just loaded a sample listing to try out the new sellers profile, went back to check a preview - and NO IMAGES! Auctiva guys, look at my saved listing: Newfoundland 1857 8d mint cat $508 with certificate. I know the description now needs changing, but I can't get that either now. Sooooo frustrating. Its all very well having all these lovely features, but whats the point if they don't ****** work half the time.

The time has come to look elsewhere unless this is resolved THIS WEEK. Hey you lot out there, I am using Auctionsage for post sales listing and it is dead easy to use, once you get through the initial hiccups and a brilliantly helpful designer who really cares when things go wrong - which is why I don't mind paying a reasonable sum. I am about to try out their posting, as well as eBay's Selling Manager Pro. Any other ideas?
you have to do this via my eBay or equivalent. Go to 'revise your item' then into the description area, from where you should see a further link to 'edit your picture'or something like that (talking off the top of my head here) If no-one has bid on your item, you can amend your pictures for the first 12 hours of your auction, but after that, I am afraid you can't.

Oh, and by the way, today I couldn't get into Auctiva for the first 3 hours of the day, and now I am in and halellujah, my pictures are showing. I wonder how long for? Frown
Auctiva,
I think we all need a statement from you telling us exactly what the problem is and how long it will take to fix. There is obviously a REAL issue here as so many people have posted similar concerns; we can't all be wrong! Can you please confirm the following:

1. Are you aware that your website is down for a period of time at least once a day?
2. Are you aware that your image server (or at least one of them) are down for at least one period a day?

If not how can you explain our issues? I have ruled out a problem with my local computer by trying several others, if you have the full sellathon service it is evident to see that customers are not viewing my auctions at the same time as me not being able to see my images, I get around 50 views an hour on average, this drops to ZERO at the problem times. I think your service has the potential to be brilliant when it works but it is totally unfair to let us lose orders without giving us an explanation. If there are users without the same issues then I suggest that their images are on a different server perhaps?
Yes, I'm having the same problem. I've submitted a help request, but haven't heard back. Everytime I get on these community boards is the same thing ~ I look for announcements by Auctiva, so as not to waste their time with a help request, then submit one, only to see that, in fact, I'm not the only one with the problem. Amazingly, never a recognition. Ya know, putting the "we're aware" in writing isn't a signal of defeat, rather a courtesy to the users, and this seems to be a massive issue here. Never the courtesy acknowledgements until a pile of people are screaming. hmmmmmmmmm I'm a very patient person, but this is the umpteenth time I've come looking here for timeframes, etc., and am beginning to feel like we're hindrances instead of customers.
