Scheduled time is off by 1 hour PST

I thought I noticed the same thing happening last week on one of my scheduled auctions but I just thought it was me.

Tonight I was watching one of my scheduled auctions and sure enough, it was off by one hour.

The auction was set for 1800 PST and posted at 1700 PST.

This should be an easy fix.

This is an option you have to change yourself. Go under My account - click on settings - uncheck the day light savings option. Time should correct itself.

Thanks, worked like a charm. Would be nice if Auctiva would send us all an email reminder with this information in April when it happens again. There will be new listers who don't know, and old folks who can't remember LOL.

One thing I have learned when you are in business it is our responsibility to know our business and the systems we use. Your listings are your own business and not Auctivas. Are we asking them to be our managers to tell us what and when to do things? If so then it is their business and not yours.

Being in business for over 30 years has taught me some things. I use to expect that everyone else should be tell me when I needed to do things till I realized "Hey it is my business, I need to be on top of things and not expect someone else to do it for me"

Sorry this is just such a pet peeve of mine. Why do people always want someone else to be accountable for them.

Actually, Auctiva should have sent an email telling us about it. Because what happened is that that check box is not necessary. Auctiva automatically adjusted for daylight savings instead of us doing it manually, but left that box there. Since we didn't know that Auctiva had done that, we just left the box checked.
