Hi Community,

If anyone is still experiencing this issue, in which, after clicking "Select an Image" on the lister page, the popup window comes up blank, please file a support case using the appropriate link on our help page.

http://www.auctiva.com/free_auction_software_help/help.aspx

Also, if there is any sort of error message or icon in the task bar of the window, please click on it and copy/paste the text that comes up into the support case.

We appreciate all of your help=)

To anybody who's experiencing this issue:

We're currently investigating why this issue is affecting some of our users and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

In the mean time, can you please try using an alternate browser to see if that alleviates the problem. We recommend using Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox for best performance with our site. If you're already using one, you may want to try the other. A free download of Firefox is available at http://www.mozilla.com.

If you get a chance to try this, please post the results on this thread, including which browser you experienced the problem with and which one worked. Or, if neither of them resolve the issue, please post that info as well.

Hi Community,

We now believe that this problem may have been created by a caching issue. If you don't mind, please try clearing your cache via the following process and then try selecting images once more:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Check Cache and Cookies -> Clear Private Data Now.

Remember to close all browser windows but one while clearing your cache.

Also, if you're using Internet Explorer, you can easily clear your cache and reload the page by holding CTRL and pressing F5.

Please post to this thread if you get a chance to try this and let me know if it helps.

HI, my pop up blocker has been turned off & i have done everything you guys have suggested. I even tried doing all new listings-still nothing! Do you know when this problem is going to be fixed? I have 60 pics already downloaded to auctiva from my computer i am waiting to use if you could let me know, i would appreciate it. Do you even know what problem is causing this? Thanks Frown
HI, i have filed a report! I have done every suggestion everybody has listed and still nothing! Nobody has contacted me back from the support team besides we are working on the problem! I do not edit my pics through auctiva i do that on my computer before i download them! I have my pop up off, i downloaded foxfire, i deleted cookies, i deleted my whole computer and reloaded all of my software! So there has to be a problem somewhere. I did not change anything on my computer when this problem started. I made a listing pics came up fine, made a second one pics would not come up and have had this problem ever since! I have tried everthing! Mad

if you havent heard back from support, i suspect that your email provider dumped the replies as potential spam.

i've offered this to 3 people (two here and one on another site) and only one has taken me up on it for whatever reason (but the other two continue to complain of probs??)

if you would like someone else to take a look at it (specifically me) and see if can figure it out, let me know.

how to let me try to fix - click start/programs/windows_messenger. Note: if you dont have an MSN email acct or a hotmail acct, you will need one. program will walk you through creating a hotmail acct.

then add me to your contact list: wayoutwestusa@hotmail.com

then IM me to make sure i'm online (just cause it says i am online doesnt mean i am - puter is on 24/7)

once you know i'm online, right click my name in your contacts list, then left click on "ask for remote assistance"

what this will do is let me temporarily take control of your mouse. you will see everything i do and will be able to cut the connection at any time.

dunno if i can find the problem, but willing to take a look for ya.

note: will be easier if you open browser window and login to auctiva BEFORE requesting remote assistance. that way you'll already be logged in.

Hi Community,

I'm certainly sorry to hear people are still suffering from this issue, however, our investigation has concluded and we were unable to find out why this issue has affected some of our users. We have confirmed this issue is not a bug, so it seems it is being caused by some remote problem we are unable to identify.

All of the suggestions I can muster have been posted in this thread.

HI, i'm not trying to sound rude, but this is crazy! You think it is everybodys computer having the same glitch, that is very unlikely! There is a problem and you cant find it or are just not to worried about it! I have filed the report with you guys no one contacted me i had to get all of my suggestions off here. Everytime i have filed a report i have never received any help for the support team, i received it from other members. I did my part and all my items use insurance through you guys, which i have paid for. We need a little help from you guys and you cant do it. I dont know what heh problem is but you guys did not help us at all to fix the problem. I completely wiped my computer and reprogramed all of my software and it still didnt work but yet somehow it is my computer with the problem, I think not! If you guys cant find the problem why dont you guys try to bring in someone that will be able to firgure out what in the world is going on! Sorry i was not meaning to sound rude, but this very aggravating that you guys just keep saying it is everyone else's computer! MadThanks
