I have been trying to list several items today and have only managed to get one listed. Problem is that everything is running super slow on Auctiva, or never loads, or freezes up.
Tried rebooting several times and cache clearing. The rest of my internet sites work OK, just Auctiva is running slooooow!
Anyone else haveing those problems?

I am amazed that Auctiva is still in business; it's the most frustrating site on the entire Internet. After spending half an hour, or maybe even an hour, working on a listing, you go to save it and guess what? You wait for a long while, and then you are told that the connection is broken. You lost everything you entered! Start from scratch. And this has been going on for as long as I can remember. You would think that by now they would have fixed it. I never get this problem with any other sites.
Thankfully selling on ebay has taught me patience which is greatly needed on auctiva for about the last 7 months. Most of the time you can work around all the problems. As for the message server has attemped to redirect you. Just clear the message and hit upload again. It took me 3 times to get 11 pictures uploaded. As for the connection interrupted. This always makes me leary.You should be able to use your back up button to get to page before. Always double check your ebay listings if you were posting at this time. Twice the listings have double posted on me in the last 7 months.

Thanks for letting us know about the behavior you are seeing. We are not receiving a whole bunch of reports of this nature so any problems that may be causing this do not appear to be very widespread. However, we are aware of these reports and our IT team is looking into them. We did just reboot a server that was running out of memory so that may alleviate this problem for some or all of you.

Thanks for the reply. Like you say, the problem doesn't seem to be widespread.
I thought I was OK this morning and was able to list an auction with no trouble but when I tried another this afternoon it was the same old thing. I can upload pictures ok and get to the main listing page but it's when I try to go to 'Choose Diff Template', 'Preview', 'Error Check', etc. that the problem arises. Super slow or nothing; it usually just sits there.
It's probably my computer setup/configuration/whatever but two days ago all was fine!

I have only been seeing this a lot recently. Sure I've seen the occasional problem, but most of the time it works great. On the whole, I really like the Auctiva service and I love the price.

I can live with an occasional problem or outage when listing. I can always work through it or come back and list tomorrow. I cannot live with a problems in the order processing end of things. That's why I don't use Auctiva checkout anymore. I did have buyers reporting occasional problems there. Most of the time it was fine, but that is not good enough for the buyer's end of things. It would have to be virtually bulletproof and 99.99 percent available for me to use it.
I started having the same problems yesterday and sent a request to support. According to them the site is fine. I cleared my cache, ran virus & spyware scans and cleaned my registry with no result. I too am only having problems with this site. Shipping info is missing when I try to relist and freeze ups are common. I have been with the site for years and have not run into these problems before. I just sent the additional info to customer support. By the way anyone find that Live Chat is rarely available???
yes.. its not about being slow, its that there server is not working correctly, with many different errors, timeing out, bad server request, photos wont upload, getting these gray box errors, then sometimes it works, but when it does work, it has taken me over an hour to post one listing on ebay, yea it is so frustrating, i sent in all kinds of emails to advise them of each error, they stated to turn off my ebay toolbar, and turn off my firewall, dont understand why now all of a sudden i need to turn them off when 2 wks ago i didnt have too. i refuse to turn off my firewall to accomadate there issues. this is getting old, time to look for a new site i guess. good luck all

Update - Our IT team located the problem that was likely accountable for the behavior described in this thread last night and made some changes to our server configuration that we expect will prevent these errors from occurring. I can't believe it! Been working for 2 hours w/o a problem!!!!

still bugs me because they're acting like they "just found out about it!" last night, and like they fixed it ASAP when that is not the case - they ignored our complaints for a whole week before they took any action.

But for this hour, I'll be grateful it's working as should. Not going to stop pasting my new descriptions into Word though so I don't lose them. It's happened before this week and I'm sure it will happen again.
Had the same problems plaguing me, now cannot input item description because editor gives error message every time i open a saved listing (tried multiple ones). Also, I am unable to crop pics. I don't know what's been going on lately, but I seem to be having an inordinate amount of trouble using auctiva (myself and my customers as well).
And I've filed 2 cases in the last month or so with a pretty slow response time, maybe it's too early in the morning (I'm in EDT). Hope this is fixed soon.
I'm fairly new to the message boards but have been reading them lately as I am having problems as well but somewhat different. I do see the slowness but I am having trouble getting the auctions to post to eBay. If I schedule the auctions only about half make it to eBay and the rest are rejected with the error saying i am accepting unauthorized payment methods. Not true, as I have edited all of my listings and profiles. Often I have to 'post' an item as many as 6 times to get it to go to eBay. It finally does go without me making any changes - just punching it over and over. Anyonw else seeing this? Thanks
