I also have spacing issue when my listing gets posted to Ebay. It looks fine in the auctiva listing preview, but in the actual listing in Ebay there appears to be huge spacing.

Hi,

I looked at the listing and the code. If it's the left-shifted with right-space-void problem that I'm seeing, it's due to the main table not being centered.

Here's the code in the listing:

<br>. <table height="950" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="746" border="0">

Tables are automatically left aligned, unless you use the align attribute, e.g. align="center". If you add that to the table, it should correct that visual problem.

Oh, and that "." following the <br> apparently is in the description text and explains the period you see at the top left above the banner. That's due to the [DESCRIPTION] tag being placed above the banner in the template code (at very beginning). That's an odd placement for that tag?

Also, I see one IMAGE1_ORG tag, but it looks like you need 2 for the 2 images (side-by-side), unless that's a fixed element for all versions of use for this template? Same for the lower description and seller details, which are normally where the tags are used for those fill-ins by the one-page lister.

I can see by the Scrolling Gallery that this template is used for all the chrome plates with the the only variation being the model badge. With that in mind, I can see why you've set the template up as is. However, future flexibility for other types of plates or accessories isn't to difficult to achieve with some minor adjustments.

Thanks for your quick response. My main concern is the hugh empty spacing appears after auctiva logo in the actual listing. I've included align = "center" in the coding, but that doesn't seem to fix the gapping problem, would you please take a look again?

Also, I've tried to remove the [DESCRIPTION], but returns with error when save, it says I have to include either [DESCRIPTION] or [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGE]
Hi,

If you mean the Auctiva logo between the bottom of the template description area and the eBay free image, I'm seeing no gap. This sounds similar to an observation by another member on a thread last week. The member was seeing a gap, but several of us didn't. That seemed to mysteriously clear-up. Here's the thread:

One of the description tags is required. I'm now seeing the period with paragraph code <p>. </p>, which appears to have slightly widened the top margin between the scrolling gallery and top of the template.

Um, my HUGE space has NOT cleared up, contrary to what I hastily posted. But....YIPEEEEEEEEEEE, now that I know I am NOT the only one seeing BLANK SPACE, I know that I am not senile afterall. After wracking my brain for well over a week & at a virtual stand still here NOT able to list or relist items, I THINK I know (or have a suspicion) as to what the problem is or at least where it initiates. It's an eBay MOTORS problem!!!!!!!!!! [insert swear word here!!!!!!!!!!!!]....I HATE eBay Motors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
