listings scheduled but wont post?

Same problem here. 3 listings sitting since 5:16pm. Just did another one, and it's hung up, too.

hi, same here had a load scheduled for tonight and gone straigth past posting times and still not posted
tried to post ad immediatly and still not posting
no error messages or anything
very frustrating as dont want them posting now as too late for my bidders
so will have to see what happens on the morrow

Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened. What makes it worse is you can't cancel it, so your suck with it if it actually posts. You cant go in and do manual posts or you may get double posts...it really is a pain

Same here, Very annoying. Some have posted but 2 haven't.

I signed up for the forums just so I could research this problem and there it was with your posts! I did have one post at 5:00pm without a problem but the others didn't follow as scheduled.

I had one post around 5pm then a double post on my next scheduled. And now I can't get them to post at all. I guess I better to be ready to cancel some auctions when it does start working. I am not a happy camper at the moment.

On a brighter note.. At least I am not the only one. LoL

Same here...I did file a support request. I posted a thread at the same time as you. Mine are also hung up since a bit after 5pm and nothing will post. HTH

Add us to the list of attempted listings which will not post. Time is 3:26pm MST Sunday

Same here, 2 posts won't post. I opened a case with Auctiva but you know how that goes. I'm sure I will get an email from them on Tuesday.Guess I will use the turbo lister for now.

I think the exact problem lies in Autiva's clock. If you do post now, the auction will show up as scheduled an hour later. Basically, Auctiva may have had a problem with daylight savings. Therefore, every time Auctiva sends the data to eBay for posting, the time has already past an hour ago, and no auction gets posted through Auctiva.

not sure if thats right cos i tried a post now and it showed a s 10mins later, still none the wiser

having same problem as everyone else though I did get several items posted before this happened. It can be cancelled though (I think...) going into try to do that now.

Did it show as scheduled for 10 minutes later or actually post to eBay 10 minutes later? You're right that it's not exactly an hour slow. Right now, it's 1 hour 2 minutes slow for me, but the clock may vary for different accounts. It happened 8 times to me yesterday, I canceled the first 7, and the last one posted 1.5 hours later.

To get the scheduler clock sync-ed for Daylight Savings Time (DST) for submissions, make sure you mark that setting in your Activa profile settings. It adds the hour for those needing DST for their location (like us folks in the USA where it took effect last Sunday).

How do you change that setting? There are so many different account options.

My Account --> Settings --> Account Settings -->Under Account Preferences, the 8th row down is Preferred Time Zone. The daylight savings box is under that.

I have that setting checked. Have since i became a member whenever that was.

Still not listing auctions for me.

I think it doesn't matter about the time change settings because it still won't post. I think there is a definate glitch in the system.

I listed today with no problems until 4:30pm EDT. Then all of a sudden listings all went to scheduled.

If you don't want them scheduled, GO to Listings > Scheduled, and DELETE all the items. Make certain they're in your saved listings first so you don't lose what you've already created.

I just received this email from support stating it is a problem with 1 of their servers and they are working on it. See email below :

The listings are moving into the scheduled page instead of posting directly. This appears to be related to an issue with one of our servers. In the mean time, I would suggest you to try canceling the duplicate listing from the scheduled listing page and not to try posting the listing again until the issue get resolved.

Interesting! Out of 8 items in my "Ready" for the last two hours - two random ones just posted! I guess I check back in a little while maybe the others will post eventually as well. I think if it gets too late though I'll cancel. I don't want them randomly posting at Midnight!

I see a lot of folks are having trouble with Scheduled listings. MY problem is I hit the POST NOW and it puts my listing in a scheduled.

The time setting change didnt help either.

My suggestion is to let them fail. Come back in about an hour and reschedule the failed ones then. We're working to replace a server that pooped out with a different server. We've got dozens, it's just a matter of time to figure out the problem which we've already done and now get it resolved which we're working on. Try back in an hour. Go ahead and create and save listings now, just wait to schedule them if you can. If not you are welcome to try and post them but just don't get too mad if they don't.

Yup, I'm having the same problem. I opened a ticket for help before checking here, but I see that everyone is having this issue.

When I chose "Post Now", they all went to scheduled and it has been almost 3 hours and none have ever posted.

Activa is now flashing an INFO banner alert on the main page on this problem. If you click on it, you get this pop-up:

"Users who posted listings to eBay between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm PST on Sunday may notice a delay in their postings. We have addressed the issue and your listings will post normally with no further action required from you. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused by this delay."

Yup, same problem I'm having, meme. I want to avoid double-listings in case they do go through since I've tried several times. So.... I just cancelled the ads that went into "Scheduled" automatically.

Hi Meme, That is the same problem as everyone else is having. We are trying to list immediately and it's going into the scheduled. All mine have posted now :0) but it was slow going. Just leave the stuff in scheduled and it will post. Mine took about 2 hrs start to finish and did post in the same order as created.. Good Luck all!
