Master Profiles

Hi energizer,

You can load all of your profiles at once by using a master profile. To create one, go to Auctiva -> Profiles -> Master Profile. A master profile can contain one or more of your other profiles and can be loaded into your listing using the "Master Profile" pulldown menu at the top right of the listing page.

I'm not sure why you're experiencing those other errors. Here are a few things to try that may improve the functionality of Auctiva on your computer:

1) Clean your web cache and clean up your registry. I recommend using I EasyCleaner, which can be found at http://www.amplusnet.com/products/ieasycleaner/overview.htm
3) Try using an alternate web brower. I recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 or Firefox. If you are using one, you may try the other.
3) Uninstall your browser plugins, internet security products, and popup blockers.
4) Disable your firewall.

I think I can help you out on this one.

First make your shipping profile, call it ship priorty then your details profile call that detail gallery, do the same for all of the ones you use. Save each one. You can call them whatever you like, just trying to describe it, lol .....

Then, go to MASTER under your profile tab.


(Create a master profile that contains from one to all four of the individual profiles, mentioned below.)

(Select your master profile when creating a new ad to help save time in creating your listings!)

where it says MASTER, open that and click on each little drop down box

Detail profile
Marketing profile etc .....

select the saved shipping pri profile you made before, then the other profiles you made, now save the whole thing as MASTER1. Or masterpri or masterset shipping...you get what i mean ?

Then when you go to make a new auction listing, at the very top right on your listing page there is a drop down box called MASTER PROFILE

when you click on that select your saved mastership pri or what ever you called it and the page will reload. It will then ask you if you want to continue, click yes. Then when the page reloads all your saved profile info for that master will load automatically.....

phew !!! i bet if i read this back it will sound like gobblede goosh... lol

Thank you for the reponse. That really help.

However, I do not feel comfortable taking out the firewall, internet security and blockers. I have gotten viruses many times already and third parties have gotten into my ebay and paypal sites.

In addition, I have been getting messages from my Zone Alarm that someone is trying to get into my computer. Good thing that I had a firewall and it blocked the hacker.

Please recommend some other ways or may be this is soemthing yout technical team should think about especially with ID theft, and hackers that we are all concerned with.

I think the piece that Mike left out is -

1. Disconnect from the Internet
2. Do whatever Mike said
3. Re-boot the system to ensure that all your security sytems and pointers are re-set.
4. Re-connect to the Internet.
