Site Down 9/26 6:00am - 8:30am PDT New Features Release

I really wish this release was not being done right at the end of eBay's September sale on listing fees. I really need access to this site and I fear it will be down longer than planned.

Here's hoping for the best.

My auctiva picture scroll shows as 'no items available' although there are, is there a problem with the site?

Minx41...whenever maintenance is being done on Auctiva, your scrolling gallery will not show any items as it slows the maintenance down.

Once maintenance is over, all will be as before.

I, too wish I'd known it wouldn't be the usual maintenance time. I wanted, needed to work on getting some auctions up and running.

Please tell me this isn't going to be any automatic additions to our auctions such as the counters and public stats as happened once before.

Thanks Donna for your quick reply, everything looks a bit squiffy at the moment so I will wait until the maintainance is done and see if it all goes back to normal, Margaret

We're getting ready to bring things back up online. Will let you know if for any reason things will take longer than our original estimate, but at this point everything looks good.

Site is back up, there are two pages that need an ongoing database change to complete before they will work again.

glad to see consignment added. The site is running very Slowwww right now.Hopefully I will get a chance to check out and use the consignment feature soon.
Any plans of offering eBay Giving Works support soon?

Trying to list items and keep getting:

API Error

Tax rate selected is greater than the maximum value.

I don't use a tax rate and never have. Please help.

The site should speed up shortly. When we come back online, there are a lot of requests to the site that slow everything down. Some features we have need to rebuild their cached data as well and this causes an initial slowness when the site comes back online.

We are monitoring everything to make sure nothing went wrong with the release that is causing site slowness. Will let you know if we do discover anything.

eBay giving works is on our project list. However, I don't have a definite date for this. The one positive side in regards to this feature is that eBay now allows you to revise an item and add Giving Works options. This was previously not an option through eBay.

Several issues:-
1. Only space to enter one image at a time.
2. price only available in $ not £.
3. No facility to remove existing images when editing a saved listing.

I was in the process of setting up my profiles and seller details 1-2 days ago. Now, with the new "manage profiles", they've disappeared! They still show as listed, but everything's blank. Are they going to show up again? Or do I have to go back and recreate everything?

Just a thought... it might be handy to also post the Greenwich Mean Time when posting the times that the site will be down. I had assumed, wrongly, that the a.m. times that you posted for the overhaul had been adjusted for UK members.

Hi! Just want to let you know when creating a listing and I try to add an image it loads a blank screen. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I am using firefox. Thanks!

We are looking into the tax rate issue. This is a new feature that allows users to use the tax rate settings specified by their eBay account, on eBay.com.

Also looking into the image reports.

Your profiles and seller details that were saved previously should still have all the data they originally had. I would make sure to NOT resave anything if it does not properly display when you edit it.

Problems we've seen thus far:
1. API Errors stating Tax beyond allowed amount. Problem with this is, we haven't implemented any taxes to our listings.

2. Images are without ability to be removed from saved listings. When you do click remove, the gallery picture goes blank.

3. Link for checking status of a case appears to have disappeared. None of us see, it...probably right in front of us???

Can someone explain what the new features are, and what benifit they have, i would like to try them. Thanks. I read up there about the names but like some more details about their uses, many thanks xxx

I CANT LOAD ANY PICTURES! HELP! When I go to upload a pic it does nothing! DO i just need to wait longer?

I cant post anything. It says its posting, but nothing shows up on ebay.

I am able to upload pictures. I tried to post a store item, but it is not showing on my eBay store.

I am unable to see my scheduled listing. I guess I have to wait.

We're pushing a fix out right now to fix a number of the issues reported. To do this, we take down 1 web server at a time and most people will get automatically moved to a server that is still up. Just a heads up in case anyone does get kicked off the site.

UGH!!!!!

Can't wait to try the Thumbnail gallery! I use alot of photos but it will be nice to condense the auction with re-sizable thumbnails.

AUCTIONS NOT POSTING TO EBAY! Cannot get any response to this! I went in and listed an auction (or tried to) 4 times and it won't post to Ebay! Cannot get any help on why this is happening or due to the maintenance. If it's happening to me, it's got to be happening to others. Nothing is wrong on my end - everything's up to date (tokens), everything - anyone else not having any auctions post to Ebay?

Finally got into my scheduled listings, but am having API errors and tax rate errors when I haven't chosen anything with tax rates. This is terrible! Why did Auctiva have to choose THIS week to do this when we're all trying to get our auctions posted before the fees go up?

The majority of the errors posting to eBay were related to an issue with the new tax rate feature.

The post release update we just did a few minutes ago should have resolved this issue.

Please let me know if any listings you have tried to post to eBay since 9:45am PST are still failing due to tax rate issues.

When I click on the "Select An Image" it does nothing. It says Error on page at the bottom left corner.

My costomers cannot pay using a credit/ debit card. There is some kind of server error.

Please help!

I cant POST anything! It says its posting but does not show up on ebay.

The image issue is happening for anyone who has specified a "custom gallery or eBay header image". If this is the case for one of your saved listings, I recommend not saving or posting it at this time. We will have the problem resolved shortly.

If you are using a gallery or eBay header image that is the same as one of the images already displayed for your auction, there should not be a problem.
