Continue to have issues trying to get new images into listings

if I keep trying to post, and they dont show up, will they all popup at once on ebay when the issue is fixed? b/c I may not want all the ones I have tried and if so I dont want to keep trying to post , if they are all going to show up.

Everyone needs to be sure their auctions are set up for the correct curency. When I was making a new ad it had the C$ sign as the default symbol. I changed it to $ and hopefully that's for USA dollars. I think the default should have been $ since Auctiva is located in the USA. There's no way for me to delect photos when I'm using a similar listing to create a new one. I don't have a "Delete" to click.
People, calm down. Get your listing ready on Microsoft Word. That's what I am doing now. I can still upload my pictures, get them ready as soon the site is up and running.
If you would like to complain so much, why don't you switch to a PAID service. It's not like other services are 100% perfect.

Items that you attempt to post (or schedule) through Auctiva should either post or fail immediately.
The scheduled listings page should show an item with an error if there is one and in these cases, the item will not retry.

LadyReno -- We now support eBay Canada on our lister page. Make sure the site choice at the very top of the lister page specifies "United States". The currency choice should only be available if you have "Canada" selected, in which case eBay allows users to post to eBay Canada in either Canadian or US currency.

EVERYONE...STOP...give the Auctiva Team some time to fix it. They are working their tails off. They'll get it fixed. Just take a chill pill, relax a moment. Everyone crying about tax API errors, listings not posting...just hold up a bloody moment n' it'll go again. It's not as fast as we'd like I understand, but Auctiva is by golly, made of humans, n' just like you working on the lawn mower, it takes a moment to get things fired back up!

Last posting has blanked out.
Each new posting saves the title and then loses everything when I go back in after saving.
First one lost has a pic and title in 'Saved Listings' but when opened is totally blank.
Any ideas?

OK...
Is there another "approximate" time that the site will be back to normal...or somewhat normal.
Its 1:24 PM in the east coast and 10:24 in the west.
Still can't post and still show tax errors.

Just let em know politely. If you don't see your problem posted then post it. Otherwise they won't know it's a problem.

We're running an update to resolve the issues with images. (Can't remove, ebay header image is blank, etc).
Unfortunately, this update is on the database and is causing everything to slow down a bit. Customers are probably noticing timeouts sporadically as they navigate around the site.
The ETA for completion of this update is 10 minutes.
All other major reported issues should be resolved except for the tax table problem, which is continued to be investigated.

I cannot list at all! Site is very slooooooooow, when I click on listings, it takes forever for it to come up, and then all I get is an error mess. Help!! Thanks!
A quick follow up to the tax table issue.
At 9:45 PST we did an update that resolved the tax issue for some users. Some users were still reporting issues though and this is what we are continuing to investigate.

I've been trying for an hour to get thru one listing. I have high speed internet but Auctiva is acting like Dial-UP, I had one listing 98% done and it quit on me...I keep getting

Check the scheduled listings page. If they are marked as an error (possibly tax table API error?), then they will not retry and post later. You would need to reattempt the posting.
If they are in the "posting" status, it would be best to wait 15 minutes and then see if it is now correctly flagged as posted or failed.

Here's what I suggest. Post your listing on eBay, just like regular through eBay. Use "List Similar" or whatever you can do. Once you're done with that, you can later on add images from Auctiva to your listing. If you're really desperate in listing some items, you have to find other ways to do it.
I see that when I go to manage images, there's a caption section for each image. What does it do?

Hello Kevin, My specific info. I have been trying to post a completely listing (which I did about 12:00pm EST.) and never get a response once I click post. Now I can not even access Auctiva to enter another listing. Ken
The login issue is most likely due to the timeouts. I haven't heard of other reports of specific login problems, but due to the timeout issues, there could be an issue using any part of the site.
About to check in with DBA to make sure the database update has completed per his 10 minute ETA.

I'm not here to complain since I know this is a free service... But it is just my luck that after weeks of getting organized, I stayed up until 4 in the morning last night getting my VERY FIRST batch of auctions ready to schedule, and they don't post... I didn't want to have auctions ending in the middle of the night, but that would have been better than no listings at all...
I'm showing the tax error and cannot get in to even view my listings. I listed one before midnight, offering free combined shipping, and would love to have potential buyers able to see that I do indeed have other items for sale, while that listing is showing on the first "newly listed" page! I hope this gets resolved soon!

All I can say is I'm SO glad Auctiva does their little "improvements", and especially glad this one came the last 5 days of the reduced Ebay fees. What's the old saying - if it's not broke, DON'T fix it??? (or at the very least don't fix it at peak listing times)

I've posted 2 auctions (at 11am est) and they still have posted in EBAY. I'm afraid that if I repost, they will double post (double charge). Any ideas ???

It is almost 2 pm and I can not save my listings or schedule them. It is a shame that it is happening now...getting busy listing to get ready for the holiday sales and cheap listing fees any thoughts

I've also posted six auctions that are not showing on Ebay. They are saved, so I don't have to redo them, but it's been three hours and they're still not up.

Kevin, Would it be possible to "back off" this update until next week? And just for your information, this is the first time I have had a problem in the 3 months I have been selling on Ebay. I think Auctiva is a great resource.

I appologize about the 10 minute ETA that was posted earlier. Due to heavier volume on the website, the update is taking much longer than expected.
If the update does not complete in another 10 minutes I will do what I can to stop the update and we'll look into another method of resolving the issues people have had with gallery and ebay header images.
