Red x's Please Help !!!!!!!!!

THIS IS HAPPENING AGAIN NOW

The red x's are showing up in many of my auctions, too--ones that have been posted for almost a week!! Help Auctiva!!

In 12 hours I received 41 emails from my customers saying "I wish I could bid but your pictures aren't showing up". I realize I am complaining about a "free" product, but Auctiva spent a lot of money on advertising to get me to drop my old system. The lack of response or action from tech support is amazing. Some of us do this for a living and missing out on bids today may have cost me thousands of dollars today. I use 6 different ebay ids and have just over 400 items listed right now and all have been without images all day. I have referred Auctiva to many people and helped spread the word to the best of my abilities. Now, perhaps I use it more than others but I have not seen a response from tech support, and I haven't seen a response for even the occasional user. With the resources available to a company this size, I am very surprised to see this type of thing happening. Notice the links to the Auctiva site work just fine in my listings...I am doing my part by letting them advertise to thousands of viewers every day regardless of weather or not my pictures show up...I guess I'm just frustrated because of all the customer complaints I am receiving. Please just get it up and running for everybody's use.

I've noticed you all joined around the same time which means it's only affecting one of our image servers. That's the good news, the bad news is that it's the one you're on.

It looks like to me that the images may have been deleted. You may want to try uploading them again, or using the append feature to append the newly uploaded ones to your listing.

On the images tab you can also try going to the "View Deleted Images" link and undeleting them if you see them there.

Hi Auctiva Jeff, Are you telling me that all of our images that were stored with Auctiva are now all gone. I would not be happy as Auctiva was the only place my images were stored. I would have to take hundreds of photo's again and download them all to Auctiva.

Also, what is the append feature and how does it work and where is it found. I am hoping I am not going to have to resort to taking hundreds of photo's all over again and that you are going to be able to restore our missing images.

I uploaded 3 images on April 9, none of them are showing, however the 1 that I have just uploaded April 15 is showing? Any ideas. No images showing on any eBay listings except from my Auctiva store? which would indicate images have not at all been deleted. Has this anything to do with the migration? Is it still going on? Any help from moderator or Auctiva Jeff is welcome

I have hundreds of pictures also, Fortunately I always use the Main picture using eBay hosting, but all the additionals are hosting in Auctiva. And I have all my pictures saved in my Hard drive, I will wait until tomorrow if I won't see any solution yet I'm going to start to upload all my pictures starting on the more expensive Items, I don't have too much itmes on Auction, but I have more of a hundred in my store

all images except those uploaded last night gone, suspect store hosted on a different server and possible to get some of those back before they end?????

so,Jeff, is there any chance the pix will return??I had over 600 stored and 16 auctions live with the ebay "sale" which has not done me any good as they all end today--this is the second time I have lost images with auctiva, but last time I was able to find them on the site and re-edit them back---now they are truly gone. would have to totally rethink auctiva from now on--too unreliable.

I use ebay income to pay the bills too! Has anyone heard from customer support today? If someone could tell me where to find the area
to ask for Support Help, I would appreciate it. Although, at this point I don't think it

Hi There, I filed a support request around 5 hours ago now, but still no answer, which is mighty unusual for Auctiva as I usually receive a reply very quickly, so maybe there are inundated.. If you wish to file a support request, click on the Help button at the top of the Auctiva page and then scroll right down to the bottom of the page and you will see where it says File A Support request.. Hope that helps.. Still no photo's showing up on listings though..

its not just new members who joined all around the same time i have been using them for over a year now.....none of my listings have pics and i rely on auctivia to host my pics correctly...they are not answering my mails just one response in 6 hours.....i am dammed if i am going to trawl though every listing and add photos again!..That is an impossible task am already losing bids cos people cant see waht the hell they are bidding for....am very unhappy with the total lack of customer support and care in this situation!!!!!
Just sort it out Auctivia...or you will be losing many many customers.

you see also tahts another ???? if all the images are deleted then why when you go into your images floder and click on each one does it still show all the details (size etc)...surely if all deleted then there would be nothing!!

The last reply I received from Auctiva support was last night around 10pm and my pics were not there for ending auctions. I lost money. Does anyone know if our pictures are really gone for good? I too have an ebay store and auctions with tons of photos. I do not have time to retake all those photos and I would have to end all the listings and relist. There doesn't seem to be a way to upload them back in on ebay unless you use ebay pic service. This is not how I intended to spend my Sunday.

I guess we are all eagerly awaiting a response from Auctiva as to what is going on with our images.. We are all loosing heaps of sales from not having images as I for one would not bid on an item if I could not see what I was bidding on, so I don't blame others for not bidding on my items when they can't see them.. Auctiva is usually excellent with their Support, but in this case they seem to be extremely slow, which tells me they must be having major problems and are having heaps and heaps of Support Cases filed concerning this matter. I guess we can't do much until they get back to us. To end all of my listings and have to relist them again, would cost me alot of money and I just couldn't afford the extra expense of having to relist them all.. No matter about the amount of time it would take, to do all the images again and then upload them all, to do the listings all over again.. Still keeping fingers crossed that they will miraculously just turn up again, but it would be nice if someone from Auctiva could let us know exactly what is going on..

Well, Auctiva's phrase "Powerful solutions for ebay sellers" isn't really standing strong today is it?
I sell baby clothes in bundles and i have about 60 images per listing so you can imagine i am slightly p*&%^%d off!!
I have 4 hours left on all my auctions now which would normally be above £50 per auction. Some only have 99p on them because of this, all of them i paid to feature them so i cant really afford the £70 fee of relisting them all at the moment.

Does anybody know if i was to cancel the bids and pull the auctions if i would be entitled to an unsold relisting fee credit? I am too late now to revise my listings and change the photos as within the last 12 hours so u can see i am pulling my hair out!!!

One lowsy reply from auctiva slave robot saying they are aware and thanks for letting them know. They obviously didnt read my email then as i wasnt too nice to them!!

IF YOU PULL ALL YOUR LISTING YOU WIL NOT BE ENTITLED TO RELIST CREDIT...you will have to lose all the money you spent listing them..and anyway when things get pulled or dont sell e bay only give you minimum re list fee back not money for featured items so you will lose out both ways..am in the same situation but thankfully its only a few ending today.

Well, I have over 400 live auctions on my various accounts...I have been using auctiva for about a year...the pictures are missing from our accounts. I just re-uploaded 875 pictures for one account and I went to the "ACTIVE LISTINGS" tab, selected the listing and clicked "ADD IMAGES" for each of 49 auctions on this one account. It adds pictures to the bottom of the auction, but leaves the originals as blanks...it is better than nothing, I suppose but looks very unprofessional. You can see an example

now...I just put in that link and my pics are showing again...thanks for all the wasted time Auctiva. You should try to perform what you advertise before putting other people's income on the line...very disappointed in the level of service on this. 3000+ PLUS comments and they respond once?

maybe we should all ask for re imbursment of selling and listing fees...see if that gives them a kick up the backside!!!!! and maybe loss of revenue as well!!!

It lasted for over 12 hours for me!!!! But glad they are back!

my images comeing back slowly , at least most of open auctions and ones i am getting ready to list today

I have 11 of my 500 images back, so I guess it's a start....Going to bed now so will be interesting to see what has changed in the morning...Please let them all be there!!!!

well i ended one of them which was not featured so that only cost me 30p which i can afford to lose!

I went to cancel a featured one as i thought if i lose the listing fee it doesnt really matter so i started to cancel the bids on them and then it said i couldnt cancel it anyway as under 12 hours!!! ggrrrrr so now its back at 99p again from 17 quid...*%%^%£%$"££""%%%$$£££&&&&********.

ALL MY IMAGES ARE SHOWING NOW. IN THE SPACE OF 4 HOURS I HAVE HAD ABOUT 18 MINI HEART ATTACKS AND LOST ALL MY HAIR, but at least there is still 3 hours to go with images which is the busiest time for bids. lets hope they dont disappear again.

Only some of my auctions-pictures are showing; many others have returned, but not happy about the ones that are now showing still...hope it ends soon.

it seems to be the images that have returned were all added in the last 7 days the ones I am missing now are re listed items...still no response from the 'powers that be!'

Another 6 hours and still no other images. This is the reply I have just received from AuctivaThank you very much for bringing this to our attention. This is a known issue to us and our engineers are working on the same. This should be resolved at the earliest.

Of the 11 images that have returned only two of them are current listings. My images have now been missing for well over 24 hours.. Come on please Auctiva, we need this issue resolved, this is now starting to cost me big time.

I mentioned earlier in the thread you may want to take alternative measures to get them back. Reupload and use our feature that lets you append them to the auction. Or use the replace feature.

I'm sure the engineers are syncing them from the backups but that could take longer than your auctions may have left.

So Jeff does this mean that they will be coming back at some point or that we should start reuploading? For many of us, this process is would be extremely time consuming, so it would be nice to know what the optionsa re at this point. Some of us can be patient if we know the old photos will in fact be restored. Please advise.

I too am getting missing pics as well. I did what one of the techs suggested and that was to re add the pics again, WELL that would be nice if your system would let me do that and I too have people emailing me saying i would like to bid but cant because of no pics,WELL this is very bad for everyone. You say add em back in WELL I sure would take your advice if it only did work, but like the pics it dont work either. I have not had much trouble but when I do its with pics usually. Wish you all could get this figured out as alot of us are very frustated and concerned that our auctions have been up for almost a week for some of us as I read and at the last part of my auctions pics gone well that dont produce happy customers and dont help me with getting no money and bids because of no pics. And by the way I hope you dont try and patronize me and make me think its no bid deal because that is what usually happens on this posting of messages, I think. I have been happy with Auctiva for the most part but some things are very frustrating to me and others feel the same I can say that with no reserve at all. Hope this gets fixed pronto. Wish it was not this way.

I'm sorry you are becoming so disconcerted over this issue, however, I just reviewed all of your active listings and the only one that is currently missing images is item # 180107866781.

Since this item has already received bids, unfortunately, you will not be able to revise the description to add the missing images, however, you can append images to the end of the auction using the "Add Images" button on your Auctiva "Active Listings" page.

I justed started getting emails about my auction pics as well. If folks to email me about the pics, I'm happy to send them pics as attachments, but I do hope that this problem gets fixed soon.
