I'm trying to get my product images optimized. Previously when I was using the eBay interface I understood that 1600px X 1600px gave me great images. I'm using the the Smart Handhelds template with Slideshow option. When I try to upload image I see the Max-Image size is 1920px X 1440px, so I make an image that size and upload. Hello sallbill, Thanks for your interest in Auctiva. At this time the adjustment tools you refer to are only available using our mobile app for images. There are editing tools for brightness, contrast and more available in the app which are not currently in the tools on the website. - Craig

Hello Bushturkey - In your Account Preferences there is a section for Image Management - and we currently offer 2 sizes for the maximum image size for your image uploads. The higher of the two is 1920 x 1440px, so uploading larger images will result in some mild compression to bring your images to that size. I have my preferences set to 1920 X 1440px and am uploading an image at that exact size. When I preview the image in Slideshow it has been downsized to 1390px X 1040 px. Presumably this is set by the template? so the original size of the image or location of the hosting would not fix this?

Yes, your understanding is correct - the templates do have defined image sizes, so the supersized version of images would show at those dimensions (1390 x 1040) when you have used the larger of the available sizes for upload. Hello Rougherdiamond, I am sorry to hear that you have had trouble with your gallery images displaying. If the header/gallery image you submitted with a listing is showing up in the header image area and not the gallery image area, it is indicative that eBay was unable to make a copy of the image for display in the gallery for some reason. Cant load images to add to my variations, and then i get the spam message saying sorry the site is busy? How is that helpful ? Funny how every other area of the site is working. I have taken the day off to upload loads of listings only to have auctiva stopping me. i hope we are all going to get a refund for the days this is down. not happy at all.
