Re: Getting a listing error - not sure how to fix ? anyone that can help?

Hello Arrowheaddealer - I am sorry to hear that you are encountering difficulty with some of your listings. As a result of some of the changes that eBay has made in the last year or so, it is no longer acceptable to have insecure content posting to eBay. All of our resources are now compliant with this, but if you are using previously saved listings there may be content added directly to the listing description, or in many cases a Seller Details profile where an insecure URL exists that our...

here is the error I am seeing: eBay security policy only allows HTTPS resources in listings, not HTTP. Please update or remove any HTTP resources.

Re: Auto Relisting Not Working

Hello Poopppy - We are aware of a very intermittent issue that has affected a small number of accounts where there have been issues with Auto Relist profiles which appear to be a result of delays in communication between us and eBay. Our engineers are seeking a solution for the difficulty. If you have not already done so, please file a support case regarding this with a few examples by item number where you have run into this issue so we can pass that along to our engineers. When more...

Thank you. Any idea how long this is going to take to correct? Each day I am having less and less listings due to the autolisting not working on all our listings.

Hello again - At this time there is no new information available as to when this issue will be fully resolved. Our engineers have made some steps towards a resolution and are continuing to work on the issue. If you have a support case filed about this, it will be updated as soon as more information becomes available and I will also update this thread when we know more. Apologies for any inconvenience this causes. - Craig

Hello Rockoman3803 - I am uncertain if there was some difficulty on your end where you were unable to see my prior reply to your post, but as you have posted the identical post, I am providing the reply again. I've reviewed our support system and I believe I have found the difficulty. The only support case I was able to locate with your username associated with it was filed under our Auctiva Commerce product as opposed to the Auctiva product and it was filed during our recent upgrade to the...

The only support case I was able to locate with your username associated with it was filed under our Auctiva Commerce product as opposed to the Auctiva product and it was filed during our recent upgrade to the support system. It looks like the ticket did not show appropriate for the support team when it was imported into the new system. For this, I apologize. I have reviewed the ticket you filed...

Im having a problem and sent a support ticket last week, No response, I've never needed support with Auctiva, I've relied on EBAY with this automatically relisting two items that are not for sale and not even in my possesion any longer. EACH had its own reason i needed to end. Going on since March 2018 or more. EBAY spent countless months back and forth letting me know they are working on it, finally they discovered its not on Ebays end its on Auctiva's end. I've actually sent two request...

Craig, I thank you for the directions, so simple, so many many hours of wasted time for Ebay and myself. It never occured to me that it could be on the Auctiva end, and apparently never occured to Ebay because they took so much time with me. They would try and end it and we would watch it pop up again and again. 'I'd say, "Did ya See It, they would say "No" it looks like its gone........"Wait....it just showed up again, Let me try another way" I followed the instructions exactly as you gave...

Easy way to save active listings to reopen eBay store later????

maryle ·
I am going to make a temporary move and will not be where my inventory is to be able to ship. I intend to close my eBay store for a couple of months to save the subscription fees, but would like to find an easy way to re-open it when I return. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Am thinking that I need to somehow mark or move all active listings into a folder before I close it, but then I am concerned about quantities on listings that have more than 1 item ( especially if some have...

Hello Maryle, Unfortunately there is no way in your Auctiva account to save an already active listing while it remains active. If you made the listings in Auctiva, you should have saved listings which will remain intact in your Auctiva account. For listings that were not created and posted via Auctiva you would need to wait for the items to close on eBay and then import them from the Closed Listings page of your Auctiva account into your Saved Listings within 90 days of them closing. The...

How does one get to Ebay Motors when listing on Auctiva? Does not appear in the drop down list when searching "Category" !!

Re: Listing on Ebay motors

Hello Elbcounselor, When you first reach the listing creation page, you will want to set the pull down for the eBay site (in the upper right of the page) to eBay Motors US - Parts and Accessories or eBay Motors. Once you have selected the one you need for the site, you will then have the appropriate category options for your listings. - Craig

Re: API Error - Failed Listing

auctivacraig ·
Hello Caren, The message you have included is a warning that is associated with a Failed Listing. There should also be a failure notification as the Warning message you note would not prevent a listing from posting in and of itself. It is very likely that there is also a corresponding failure notification. If you hover over the My Account menu, you can then click on the red number (this is for failure notifications) and you should be able to see a corresponding message for the item where you...
