In answer to your question. The title, The Biddy Bunch (not my creation) was never assigned specifically to anyone. Just as guilt for these 'crimes' has never been specifically assigned to anyone. Perhaps, it is better explained this way. Ever catch your child with chocolate on his face and hands, asked him if he ate the only cookie left and he replied, “What cookie?” The neighbor kid isn’t crying, “What cookie, what cookie!” He didn’t eat the cookie and would feel no reason to protest. Re: 400x300 resize is a pain

You're right, I would like to move to Auctiva to streamline the creation of listings within a template, and other things. I suppose it comes down to me needing to adjust the way I work to get the best from the system. Trying to get it to work in a way that it is not intended can be difficult, and linking to external images is more time consuming. Regards. GTL

Re: Just one Template.....

Alot of standard boiler-plate for listings can be created using Profiles (see Profiles tab). You can create and then select them in the Auctiva one-page lister to integrate as appropriate to a new listing. I'm not sure that exactly answers your question, but it is a feature that provides for rapid listing creation without having to cut-and-paste or recreate each time. You can also create a duplicate of a listing from the Saved Listings page by selecting the "Create Similar Listing" icon for...

Hi again Dano, Yunno I had not realised that the resizing was going on in the background, and I have to admit that for the smallest of smallest of moments I doubted you. My most humblest apologies. Anyway to test the creation of the other image sizes I uploaded a test.jpg that was 900x1238 on my PC and lo and behold its size in Auctiva is 558x768. Have to say there is only one image file though! Maybe the others get created if it is used in the gallery etc. Thanks and I will never doubt you...

Re: Item Details Formatting Problem

style-at-its-finest ·
It happens in the item details. I have preset text in my templete that I add to (Ex. This is a nice pair of (text)) and I backspace the (text) off and add the item. It happens about every other auction. In the preview, the text is flush left, but in the auction creation page, it is not. I have recreated the templete twice and made sure ALL TEXT is centered, only to have it go flush left when I add to it. Oh well. Kinda hard to explain. Guess I will just live with it.

Hi I have only just joined Auctiva and cannot find help in the help section for the problem I have. Both me and the misses have ebay accounts and now Auctiva accounts on the same PC but when we submit any listing from either auctiva account they are listed on the last account that was created (if that makes sense). Is it possible to sellect the user/seller on the listing or is it something to do with the creation of the token. Any help much appreciated.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE SAVED LISTINGS?

ARE THESE LISTINGS LOST FOR GOOD? DO WE HAVE TO START FROM STEP ONE IN OUR CREATION OF THEM? I HAVE ALREADY SPENT FIVE HOURS TRYING TO GET MY LISTINGS READY TO SCHEDULE FOR TONIGHT, AND NOW MOST OF THAT WORK IS GONE. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE, AND UP UNTIL NOW I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH USING ACTIVA FOR MY EBAY LISTINGS.

Just so you all know, we're looking into these reports and hope to have everything resolved soon. We've reproduced the problem with extra spaces being added. As for the editor appearing to small, does both the design editor (on the listing creation page) and the text editor appear too small for you or just one or the other? -Kevin

Hi Kevin, I am talking about the description editor, where you attach your pictures and post. I do not use the design template editor. It is the description editor that is not wrapping the words correctly to the next line. Although, I do have my PC screen set at 800 x 600, so I don't know if this makes any difference, it didn't before you made the changes. It worked fine before the changes. Carol.

Patience is a virtue . . . . but does the high volume in sign-ups have anything to do with the fact that the ad creation page doesn't work right? If that's the case, I'll back off searching for an answer and wait for the whole site to come up to speed. However, is there any way to undo the listings Auctiva automatically altered (added the store view slide show)? Does it mean the check-out process was automatically switched over to Auctiva as well on my existing listings? And if I add new ads...

movinon, 1) To remove the store window from your active listings you must delete the store window html from the html description using eBay's "Revise Item" form. The html description can be found at Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Store Window HTML. The store window html lies between ASW tags. 2) Auctiva checkout can only be applied to listings created through Auctiva so your current listings will still go through eBay checkout. The ad creation page works fine on our end, as it...

Re: Not too cool of Auctiva for the lack of Warning about dissappearing Ebay listings

Hi, Your listings will only disappear once, its to append the scrolling gallery to all your current auctions. Its ebay who's holding up the relisting, while they recheck and relist and reenter them into search etc. Any future autions you do will automatically add the scrolling gallery on time of creation. It doesn't matter whether you list through ebay or auctiva, but if you list through ebay you won't get the added benifits of auctiva (free supersize, free photos, free templates etc)
