Re: New to Auctiva-How to custmize current ebay listings with Auctiva??

auctivatonym ·
AuctivaSeller, While it is possible to revise your active eBay listings and the unsold ones you will be relisting to include Auctiva templates, image hosting, and other design features, doing so would require redesigning each listing through Auctiva and then applying those designs to the associated eBay listings using eBay's "Revise your Item" form. The first thing you would want to do to accomplish this is recreate each listing you would like to revise in this manner through the Auctiva...

Hi KatzCornerUSA, Thanks for posting your question here. We have not been able to add support for these regional USPS shipping options because, while eBay supports printing shipping labels related to those shipping services, they still do not support offering them as available shipping services during the listing creation process. We would only be able to make these shipping services available for selection when listing eBay items through Auctiva if eBay were to make them available for...

Hi Victoria, Thanks for contributing to our forum. I just reviewed the Image Management page and found that the only images there are in the "Imported Listings" folder, which most likely means they were imported automatically. Each time a new account is created, our system creates a small sample of saved listings from the seller's existing listings and the images from those listings are imported as a result. In order to upload new images into your account from your computer as you are...

It is things like large envelopes, letters, etc, that I use stamps.com or the integrated --------- + stamps.com interface. I ship small parts and often in plain letter sized envelopes. Without being able to ship for cheap cheap cheap, these parts simply wouldn't sell. Watch repair people are SO cheap! I also sell on Amazon and other places. PayPal isn't my only payment source. I forgot the exact example case I sent to support, but I recall almost immediately running into problems. One thing...

Hi. If you can muddle through my nonsensical babbling, I think I can help. The Auctiva site is small comparatively and once everything is set, it makes all the difference in getting listings up and running. I believe I understand the questions at hand... I also found it a bit difficult finding the edit and which one I needed to edit to get what I was trying to achieve. It's so easy once that's clear. It is well worth the effort for you to figure this out. So I'll try to detail this out and...

Why is image uploading and folder creation so cumbersome?

pineviewsurplus ·
I’m not sure if this is the best place to post this but I didn’t see any general “Help Improve Our Site” feedback page. I’m wondering why it’s so convoluted to view uploaded images and to sort uploaded images into folders. I generally list 10-15 items per week with about 10 images per item. If I upload all the images they go into the default folder and then have to be sorted in a long list of images rather than the very common thumbnail gallery. I see there is some nice info about the images...

I'm sure someone has stumbled upon this before and discussed it.. but a few weeks back while RE-listing an item for the "umpteenth" time I thought about how unfair it was that eBay.. when implementing their "free relist" policy (NOT really free.. unless of course your item DOES sell on the FIRST relist [i.e. 2nd listing].. and even still.. you're only refunded the second listing fee.) Hi Bluehillstamps, are you uploading your images during listing/template creation ? If so this seems to be a frequent cause of problems. I would advise that one should always upload all images before you start editing templates and listings. Keep the two processes seperate because the internet can often hiccup and it is quite possible the editors do not recover from a failed upload gracefully and hence you lose all your work. As with any long editing session you must save regularly even...

I need to agree with OpDoc that this would be a welcome improvement. Regarding this particular issue, perhaps the developers could use the "listing image selection" page, and replicate that functionality for other image management pages. Or to replicate the "upload image page" where you click on images to upload to Auctiva. That is pretty decent thumbnail selection functionality and could/should certainly be replicated in the image management screen. Just display as many thumbnails on the...

As RcSuperSales said, if you return to the window you were in and trying to save when the time out happened, your data to that point should be there.
