images, profiles, revisions, spacing
Several questions. 1) I want to delete a profile, but I get a message that I can't because it is in a master file. How do I get rid of it then? 2) I revised my item details profile but the revisions sometimes show up and sometimes do not. What can I do to ensure it does it every time? 3) Sometimes a line is taken from one place and put it at the very end of the description. imported listings from ebay- but no pictures
I imported some of my closed listings from ebay, but got none of the pictures to go with the listings. How do I get the pictures? Also, it looks like I can save "active" listings by "moving" them to the imported listing folder, is this correct? What about the pictures?

Hi I'm new to Auctiva and i am trying to transfer my ebay account from Vendio (Andale) to Auctiva. Most of my listings are eBay store listings. I activated the token on Friday last week and Auctiva is now showing all my active listings. How do I save these active listings so that i can store/edit/update them on Auctiva? Image Borders & Supersize Questions
I know that in the predesigned templates, the image borders vary to match the style of the template. How can I make these changes in my custom templates. I know how to do this with html, but not with the auctiva image tags. Is it possible to have only one image show on thte listing itself, but have multiple images in the supersize gallery. I've tried selecting 2 images in the listing editor, and then choosing only one image in "Modify Layout". It shows only one image in the template preview,...

Since I choose to upload my image from my computer for each auction is there anyway to disengage the section that loads up your image database from Auctiva? I could save a lot of time so I wouldn't have to wait for those images to load especially since I don't use that feature Also what happens if I clck the box that says Hide Images from Active Listings? Hi! I would really appreciate it if someone could please give me some advice. Before uploading my images to Auctiva, I'm editing them in Photoshop elements. I "save for web" which compresses their size and I save it as JPEG format. The reason for this is so my photos will load as fast as possible on my listings. However I've been told that it is preferable to crop the "gallery" picture at 1200 x 1200 px "square" photo. and the rest should be what ever width fits into my template ie. 400px...

Image upload failure.....AAAARRRGGGG!
I have been trying for an hour to upload a picture for one of my listings. It always fails. I have used photoshop to resave it, failed, resize it, failed, save in different format, failed, still fails to upload. I even rescanned the image, made a completely new pic with new name, still fails. The first 4 pics uploaded fine, this one will not upload, period. New file name, new size, new format, still fails. I am so frustrated right now I'm about to toss my 'puter out the window. Please HELP!!

I am shutting down one of my Auctiva accounts and merging the listings into a more established Auctiva account. I've been reading the how to's on transferring pictures to another site and/or folder before the end of the month is here. The hints are not working for me. Can someone please let me know how to save the images from one Auctiva to another without them being thumbnails?

Images I've edited AFTER SAVE still old image
When I edit a pic with auctiva (after uploaded) I don't see the imaged fixed (like rotating). I do preview, but it's not the edited pic. Does it "fix" itself after auction is posted? Anybody else have problem, or do I just not know about something? Thanks, Sam

Images in Custom Templates
I have created a custom template, with borders, everything in my auction is within the borders, description, image, shipping/payment info.... PROBLEM: Everytime I create the header image (thumbnail of the image inside the auction) it automatically places a HUGE version of the thumbnail below my auction, outside the borders. How do I get rid of this and get the link under the thumbnail to point to the larger image within my template border?? I've tried modifying the layout... doesn't work.

Images not showing after posting auction listing
I've created an auction listing with 22 photos but once I post the listing, the photos do not show up. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong? From the create new listing page, I scroll down past the description section and find the "Auctiva Image Selection" section that shows 25 "Select Image" widget. I select all 22 individual images. Is anyone else having major problems with Auctiva today?
It is no use filing a support question they keep telling you to do the same thing, the only thing I can get to work half the time is logging in and out~ the auction will not save, will not error check keeps hanging, wasting so much time redoing auctions over and over, suggestion...copy everything to word from your description or you will lose it! anyone have any suggestions besides emptying my cookies and files, and reloading and relogging in????

Is Auctive worth the time investment
I am new to Auctiva. I invested several days learning their softwear and found the sever is down a lot or busy, it takes a lot of time to save a new listing it Auctiva will save it at all, and takes a lot of time to upload photos. I understand the service is free. Freeloaders should not complain, but is Auctiva really woth the time investment? Is the server down a lot? I also found it is impossible to call and talk with phone support. I think it would be a good idea for Auctive to charge...

Is It Just Me Or Is Auctiva Faster
After years of having the problem of the descriptions loading separate from the rest of the listing (the old blank description problem), for 4 weeks in a row now it has worked perfectly. The old discussions on this had auctiva saying it was a hardware problem and that we needed to get a different routers. I didn't do that, but knock on wood, all seems to be working well. Hello - new here and a little perplexed... Is auctiva really free??? I've searched the site over and the only thing I see a fee for is insurance. Is that correct? I currently use Seller Sourcebook for listing design and I use eBay Blackthorne because of the consignment features and the ability to schedule. So if Auctiva is free I could save at least $7.00 a month that I pay for SSB and if I can figure out a way to export completed listings to Excel for the consignment reports I could save...

IE Crashes - Can Auctiva Recover?
IE has struck again! Just crashed for the final time (I'm downloading Safari as I type this and kicking IE7 to the curb) Is there any chance that a listing I had been working on is recoverable after a crash? Or do I have to start all over again? I was just to the adding pictures part and was about to save when it happened. I liked what I had and would hate to have to start all over again. OK I cannot seem to find in the Auctiva auction set up process where you can check something so that the bidder must have a Paypal account to bid. I've been on Auctiva for quite some time and have scoured the set-up and can't find it to save my life - WHERE is this? Auctiva Listing Window Freezes when creating similar item. Please Help
Hi When I go to saved listings and create a similar item. The first item is created without any problem. However when I go to create another similar item and save or Post. The entire window freezes. Is anyone having extemely slow loading, or Auctiva not showing up at all? It's happened all night, and on 2 different computers? AUCTIVA FREEZES when I try to post-Cookies fine!
Every time I try to post/save/schedule an auction, Auctiva freezes! I have to copy and paste the item description to another program and turn off my computer and try again! It also freezes sometimes when I try to upload an image. I have checked my cookies and Active X and all is fine. Please help, I am getting so frustrated!
