Still need value pack even though use Auctiva Templates
Hi, Thanks again for the awesome free services which Auctiva provides. I have an ongoing gripe for which I would like to get some feedback. I requested that the value pack be made part of Auctiva's Marketing Tools and was blown-off by a member of the staff who said that it would advertise eBay's template tool and that Auctiva shouldn' help a competitor. SERIOUS ERROR!
Hello, I have listed 152 auctions manually (it took forever). I used the sell similar feature in eBay and apparently an error of required $3.50 insurance got replicated on all the listings. There are already bids on most of the items so I cannot edit the listing. Many of these items are selling for .99 cents. Shipping Template
I've updated my shipping templates and made sure that the eBay rate table is not checked. It's not set up on e-bay, therefore I don't need to use nor I want to. Shipping tool problem?
I opened several saved listing and when I go to shipping costs I can't change or enter an amount into the each additional item field the amount is showing light gray and some listings are not showing any dollar value. Has Auctiva locked this field so that Ebay shipping rules can't be overrided? I'm also getting error messages on some of listings regarding third party checkouts and shipping errors that are very confusing?? Any one else having problems?

Text Color Tool and Template Background Problems
Hi! 1. Loving Auctiva however I don't understand why my text tool pallete is all white squares with no colors to select from. The background fill tool is also just a pallete with no colors, just white squares. NEW Image management tool????
Maybe I am slow or had not seen this before, but now you can tell if the image you have in your folders is being used. There is a column to the right that is titled "listing" and has a 0 if that listing is not being used in a active listing. This is the most awesome thing you guys have done. I have been able to use the new multi-variotions featurs for several days w/ no issues. Then between 4pm & 5:30pm on 2-22-10 when I select the feature, the window pops-up & the processing circular arrow on top left just circles...in the lower left corner it either says error on page or done. PLEASE FIX THIS SITE OR TAKE IT OFFLINE
This is the greatest listing site of all when it works but it never works for more then a few minutes at a time. It is time to either fix it properly or just shut it down. I have tried to be patient and wait throught the change over but here I am on the board because I can't list! Pre filled/ Filling in item specifics box
I saw some people that used auctiva that have been able to do this. I looked everywhere in the lister tool, but could not find anything like this. I would like to fill in the specs of the items so that the buyer can narrow down the item easily. Hi! I'm new to Auctiva, and just tried to set up a listing. I have many photos to add, but I see that in order to add more than 24 they need to be inserted into the body of the description using the tool bar provided. Hi, The Gallery Plus feature is in the Marketing Tools section of the one-page lister. Click the Maximize on the header to open the section. Note, Auctiva may not show it free with the Estimate tool. But, that's just the estimator and not how eBay would bill for use. If it qualifies for the "free" in category, then that's how eBay should bill actual use. Danno

Hi, The template is part of the codeset that's built and sent to eBay when you submit a listing, i.e. the code is sent from the Auctiva site to the eBay site using that thing called or referred to as the API. Updating a template will apply to Saved Listings at Auctiva ONLY and will therefore be used for any NEW listings submitted to eBay. For active or closed listing (relist) situations, you would need to copy and paste code to eBay using their Revise Listing editor to update the code at the...

Correct....that will update the Saved Listings at Auctiva using the template with the new template code. Note, there is also a "Find and Replace" tool to change templates (among other listing elements) at Auctiva. It's a button on the Saved Listings page. Stricts rules would have all the tags and attribute names in lower case and the attribute values in quotes, e.g. <td align="center" valign="middle">This is a table cell.</td> Some coding tools prefer CSS style over traditional HTML and/or won't readily accept depreciated tags and attributes. When I switch the description editor to HTML from standard the tool bars go away and there is no longer a button for the auctiva hosted images or any other buttons for that matter. Hello Federal Books, We are not aware of any issues on our end that would prevent gallery images from showing on eBay - and if your Header image is showing on those listings it indicates that we have sent the image information to eBay appropriately. If the header/gallery image you submitted with a listing is showing up in the header image area and not the gallery image area, it is indicative that eBay was unable to make a copy of the image for display in the gallery for some reason. Hi luv_2_recycle - If you wish to post these items again from your Saved Listings, you can update the Sale Type in bulk by using the Advanced Edit tool after selecting your items. Once the Advanced Edit window opens up, select "Sale Type" from the pull down menu and you will be able to make such a change. However, it is possible to add the template to items which close after you have an active Auctiva account and, should you wish, you can add our templates to already active listings, but it requires a few more steps. Hello dutchman48 - There is an issue with images imported from closed listings - at this time, eBay is only providing us with images slightly smaller than the minimum requirement for images when we import, so for these listings you would need to either resize your images (there is a tool for that in the edit images area of the Image Management page, or from the lister once an image has been added) or upload them again at the appropriate size. Hi Carolrose, Yes, Auctiva will provide a tool that will allow you update your active listings with the new compliant scrolling gallery and templates. Just to clarify, come spring of 2017, listings will still be active on eBay, but the features on listings that contain active content will simply not be shown. Then, fall of 2017 listings will be blocked that contain active content. Our tools will be available long before spring so you'll have plenty of time to update your active listings.

Join the crowd. Under normal circumstances, I'd agree that DPI "shouldn't" influence the quality. However, I'm curious about that factor in combination with the other changes I've noted: 1. change in compression 2. change in decimation ratio 3. resize sampling interpolation All of those have the potential to induce artifacts. Hi John, Thanks for contributing to our forum. The "Import Listings" option on the Closed Listings page is designed to allow you to create saved listings from your recently closed eBay items. If you import one of your closed listings using that tool, you should then find the item on your Saved Listings page and will be able to post it anew from there. Mike I had some of my listing saved to be post and when I saw I was unable to do anything with a listing I was trying to check for errors and would not let me continue I rebooted my computer thinking MAYBE there was something going on with my computer.
