Hi, I tried to upload my first listening to Ebay and the follow API Error appears all the time: "For users registered on eBay after January 17, 2007 eBay requires at least one safe payment method (PayPal or Credit Card) to be selected." Actually I have both payment methods selcected at my ebay page. What else can I do? Thanks and have a nice evening.

It appears that you are offering money order as a payment method which is no longer permitted in the eBay marketplace. I've been listing all day today (1/28/13) and on my last listing I couldn't get it to post/list to eBay correctly as I got this message... "We noticed that you don't have a payment method set up with your eBay account. As soon as you take care of this, you'll be able to list more items." Is this a glitch? Could Someone please help me, I have been using auctiva for a few months, It worked great, but now for some reason when I try to list I keep getting FAILED and get this error. I have not changed emails on ebay or paypal and checked and rechecked to make sure they are the same. API error - fixed the stated issue but still cannot upload listings!
I changed my eBay auto payment from PayPal to direct debit from checking and Auctiva began to give me API errors, not posting listings, saying I owed eBay money and need to have a credit card on file. I cleared all monies owed eBay to ZERO and do have a cc on file. Meanwhile, I still cannot upload listings. API ERROR LISTING FOR DENIED POSTING..
I had gone around and around trying to figure out why ebay kept denying my listing. It was so frustrating! I listed a skeleton listing (no text or pics) to see if it would go through and it did. After I included my copied text from original listing it denied it again. I finally figured out that it was because i had the words "western union" in my shipping text. Ebay will not allow us to offer western union services or the words cash! They almost forced me to add paypal to my payment options.

API Error - No Return Policy Specified
In recent days I've been getting an intermittent API error - No return policy specified while trying to upload a new listing to eBay. Problem is my payment profile for the listing has a return policy stated - as it has for more than a year, probably much longer. API Warning - Payment Method MOCC Removed?
Hi,new guy here. I have been on ebay since '98 and I tried my first Auctiva listing and have a small problem. The item events showed this message; API Warning Only PayPal or electronic payment methods allowed. Payment method MOCC has been removed from the listing. The item listed 2 seconds later with another event box above the API warning failed listing. The ebay page only shows that I accept Paypal (which I do) but took away the cashiers check or money order option for some reason? Thanks

Auctiva won't let me take out money orders as checkout option
Folks, in order to be compliant with ebay's new payment policy, I'm trying to revise my auctions to take out the other money order and certified checks option. Auctiva won't let me do it. I maximize the checkout section UNCHECK the part about accepting money orders & checks, SAVE and come back in and check the listing. The money order option is still there, every time. Has feedback from your buyer's significantly decreased?
Since eBay has barred sellers from giving negative feedback to buyers, my customer feedback has greatly decreased. I'm just curious if the rest of you are experiencing this same phenomenom. Once I started sending positive feedback upon payment, my return feedback decreased. My 100% Feedback is still intact and my DSR scores are all 4.9 and one 4.8 so maybe I shouldn't rock the boat if some of those who did not leave feedback were unhappy, though I would like to think just the opposite...they...

Have I Lost My Mind?
I set up four auctions to post on eBay and find all have them have been rejected by eBay. Their error msg. indicates I have included invalid payment options in my descriptions (e.g. money order). This is not the case. I have examined each of the four listings and I'm at a loss to see what's wrong. PayPal is the method of choice and it's clearly defined as such in my descriptions. HELP! Confused! Can I pay with my Visa card if I DON'T have a PP account???
I just purchased an item from a seller who listed Paypal as their only payment option, and it also had credit card logos included. I did email him and he said he would take a money order as payment (since I don't have, nor do I want, Paypal). Anyway, when I completed the Buy It Now, a payment screen came up so I followed links, intending to just send him my shipping address info, etc. But then the payment screens looked/read as though I could pay with my Visa card WITHOUT having Paypal.

I tried to customize the template using the standard form. Everything came out beautifully, so I saved it. When I went back after saving it to preview , the information is all over the place....payment was gone completely, shipping was under About Us etc.. What am I doing wrong ? Help from Auctiva to modify eBay listings - No More MOney Orders or Checks
By now you've heard about eBay's policy of Sellers not being able to offer Money Orders, Cashier's Checks or other forms of payment that are not electronic. Well.... for those of us who use Auctiva and have the offer of Money Orders in the HTML - we need to remove it or face de-listing. Many sellers have 1000's of items in the store. HELP - I can list directly on ebay with no problem BUT not here
I have created ads here, updated the ebay token and everything else - I THINK First I couldn't list because I didn't have 15 feedback. I got 15 feedback NOW and I can list no problem if I am directly on ebay BUT here I get a message that says - API Error Until you have more feedback, you must use the same PayPal payment email address as your eBay email address. the PayPal payment email address IS the same as my ebay email address. How about date fields for payment received and ship date?
Could you add fields for these two items? The stat field updates everytime I do something, so it doesn't help me. Whenever I send out a payment received notice, I would like to have that date captured. Also when I send out an item shipped notice. How do I change the text style in my Seller's Profile?
I'd like the text style in my Seller's Profile (Payment, Shipping, Contact, etc.) to match the text style in the template I've chosen (from Auctiva's awesome collection). How do I do it? How do I correct a seller detail profile created?
When I preview my auction creation it shows My description tag at the very bottom below contact us with no information below it. The information is above the payment tag.
