Changing gallery pic?
Hi all, I have an ACTIVE auction and I'd like to change the gallery pic to one of my other pictures (never done this before!) I thought I followed the instructions, but all I got was the box with the little red x so I cancelled the revision. I can usually figure this stuff out, but I'm not sure on this. Can anyone tell me how to do it? Appreciate it!!!!

Changing out pic in description
Hi, I'm new to Auctiva. My first batch of auctions uploaded last nite, but I realized I had one auction with the wrong pic. I put in the right pic, but the one in the description box won't change. I tried deleting the url and adding the new one, still no change. So I have one pic for gallery and top of page and another one in description. Thanks for any help.

Changing Store Header
Hi everyone. I have searched for hours to find my answer but I can't seem to. I'm new to Auctiva and I would like to change the header (name part)on my store page (the free one). I went to a site like the cooltext.com one previously discussed above. I chose a really nice glitter graphic and was given 3 different codes to choose from to paste in the box. A comment/HTML, forum code, or the profile/website. Not knowing which one to use, I tried all 3 (seperately of course). None of them worked.

Changing the size of the scrolling gallery
Hello all, I really like the scrolling gallery but I could do with reducing the width by a small amount. Is there a html instruction that I can add to reduce either just the width, or the whole thing by say 10%, without distorting it? The reason is that I have my pictures vertically down the right and the scrolling gallery within the description box so the whole listing forms a nice square. Character map will not work in Title box
In my last response from support I was told that if I want the ¢ behind a figure in the Title box to use the Full Size Editor. Type my title in that box and then cut and paste it in the title box. That did not work. Same error came back saying Title not specific or something like that. Anyone know any solutions and if not I will file another support ticket

I am seriuosly considering donating to a charity with a percentage of my sales. I am going to take a big turn with my items and really want to do this, but I can't list them for the charity using this service. I will have to stop using it if it doesn't become an option.

Cheap shipping boxes: where do I get them?
I've just found out how expensive shipping boxes can be. A regular gift-size box is about $2.00 at the post offices and stationery stores, (and the cost of making that box must be less than $0.10!) Does anyone know where I can get cheap shipping boxes?

How to use the Basic Uploader And POST PHOTOS
First put your photo in a separate folder on YOUR PC. Then go to Auctiva home page and click on images, click upload images, click basic html uploader, choose files and then upload them to Auctiva. Now edit your listing and then when you are ready to post your photos to your listing click on the select image box. A screen pops up, click your mouse on the photos you want to post to the listing. A number will appear on the photo or photos you click on. It will be the order of your photos.

How to view uploaded pictures?
Hi! I'm a newby, and very green. I made a folder Christmas Wreath #1, chose the folder color, and uploaded my pictures. But I have worked for hours trying to access (view) my pictures I put in there. HTML Code for Store window wont work?
Anybody ever try pasting the html code of your auctiva gallery display onto your myspace or any other site for that matter? I've tried it numerous time in the last few months but only jibberish comes up with a box stating I need a flash player. Well I already have a flash player so I don't understand that. But for the most part there's a bunch of symbols. Keep in mind that i've posted other html codes on some sites with no problem. Please help.

Obviously I am new so maybe someone can help me as I did what I was instructed and I checked the Help files so now here I listed html codes in my description box but when I click preview it still shows the html codes. I clicked the html code at the bottom of the box as instructed. I even click design to see but still html codes show. I also tried it in the text mode but still html codes. Humble minor improvement
In the creat/edit new auction format there are three buttons at the bottom; Preview, Calculate Ebay Fees, and Error Check. These are great but... I usually hit all three. The error check is the problem, it has the check box appear at the top of the auction page and it always increments the screen view down so one has to scroll back up to see the box. I am receiving a Description Tag Error when creating a new template
Hi, I am trying to create a new auction template using HTML provided by my ebay store designer. I cut and pasted her HTML into the create template box. I am so fed up with Auctiva - NO ITEM SPECIFICS
I am really tired of paying Auctiva for what has become a very poor service. My main problem is that many of the categories that I list in now have NO item specifics listed. Shoes is just one of those. There is just a small blank box - there are no drop downs or menus. I am using Picasa
I have all my photos on Picasa3. When I try to upload images the first thing that comes on in the box is Java trying to up load. I have a PC and IE. I was also told that Uploading java may not be the best thing for my computer. Last Year I did not have any problems but now, how do I get my photos from Picasa to Auctiva.

I can't find out how to supersize
Apologies first as I am new to Auctiva and learning (pretty fast!). I have uploaded my images via the drag and drop. I have then managed to create an auction and upload it to eBay successfully. I can't preview after creating a listing!
In the last two days, I haven't been able to preview my auction when clicking the preview link. A box pops up that says "done" on the bottom bar and two "close preview" boxes. In the past I have been able to easily preview all of my created auctions. I have no trouble listing, saving auctions or seeing what my ebay fees are. What could I possibly be doing wrong??

I am sorry if this is a repeat question, but I didn't find an actual answer that satisfied me. I have created and saved a custom template. I don't even know how to explain this one
Every time I try to add something to/on a listing page or even on my payout pages it tries to leave the page. The box to stay on page or to leave page keeps coming up for NO REASON. This has been happening now for a couple weeks and apparently none of the "fixes" have corrected this issue....or it is just a result of one of the recent "fixes" for something else. This is getting very old !!!!!!

Just new on Auctiva and confused...my new listing page, profile page etc. has a drop down box at the top titled "Ebay Site:" and the box's options are "United States", "United Kingdom" and "eBay Motors (United States)". I have the HTML for my custom template.... now what?
I paid a woman to do a new template for us. She sent over a huge HTML thingy. It appears as though there are 2 options for us. Either create a Profile and plug the new HTML where the regular Description box is in the middle of that page- or we can go to the actual Create A New Template and create it there with all the Tags and such. I'm having trouble with store categories in a new store
Under inventory, add/manage categories, the categories (i.e. "Jewelry and Watches") I added do not show under the "Current Categories" area. When I try to add "Jewelry and Watches" I get a warning box stating "The category you attempted to add already exist in your category tree". There were there earlier, but are gone now.

I think that it would be great if you could have some type of insurance documentation that we could give to our customers to essentially prove that we purchased insurance for their item. When I check the Insurance Required box in the Auctiva Listings page for International it is not showing up when International customers make a purchase. The Ebay invoice shows NO insurance charges. I sell all kinds of items and I LOVE Auctiva because I can take a ton of pictures to put on the listing. My problem now is with volume. I have a system down pat! Once I take a picture of the item, and wrote the description I pack it up in the box for shipping and give it a unique 3 digit ID number. images on ebay do NOT show. Is there a problem with Auctiva today?
I just noticed today that the pictures hosted by auctiva are not showing on my listing. I am not sure if this has been going on for more than a day. I can read the description very well but the pictures are not there. Instead of thumbnails, I got a question mark in a box and the link to 'click to view supersized image' shows there but when you click on it, there is no pic. I have another listing with the same issue but it shows 2 pictures out of 7. Is there anything going on? Thanks!

Images won't load or be viewable
More problems with listings, It shows no picture on my saved listing that I am trying to edit and post. Shows a red check mark in the box. When I hit remove or edit it opens the image box......counts down from 50 to 25 and just sits there, nothing happening, none of my images I have uploaded will show up. Info does not stay typed in Item Description box?
At the top of the Item specifics window there is a box titled "Item Description". Whenever I type in that box it just disappears. If I go back to that window the typing in that box is gone, if I move to another box the typing is gone(still in the item specific window). If I click the "add" button by it before or after typing it still disappears. I use google chrome and couldn't find any known issues on here.

Inserting photo in active listing
I have tried to insert a photo in an active listing, but when I check the box for doing this a pop up window flashes only briefly and then I recieve a message that states no image was downloaded. I have settings to allow pop ups. What could the problem be? I have the photos downloaded on Auctiva.
