I have a suggestion for a new feature. For Auctiva shipping insurance, I charge buyers $0.80 instead of the full $1.30, and I (as the seller) will absorb the rest of the insurance cost myself. Even if a buyer decides not to get shipping insurance, I will still always pay for USPS Delivery Confirmation as the minimum protection for myself. Hi! I have been with Ebay for many years...buying mostly; however, I did sell a few things a while back using Auctiva's Free Trial. After I cancelled the trial I was no longer able to see any of Auctivas pictures in any listing I would pull up on Ebay. Big trouble brewing for Ebay sellers - must read
If you have noticed a big change in your ebay traffic read below. I have seen a huge drop in traffic to my ebay store and it began on Aug 20th. It started literally that day. I have since learned there is a new search algorithm being tested/implemented and its responsible for this. I participated in every boycott over the years, and this one too. Here I am sitting on the sidelines, nothing listed, and I watch the site numbers daily for listings to see what happens. For about the past week now I have been unable to use eBay's "mail system" because I get network errors (timeout). I find that when I am listing items with Auctiva, I need to select the 'Seller details' in template management section each time I list. It is not saving the setting in the item details template as I would expect. Also, when listing using a template that has been customized, there are html tags being inserted into the ad as text. API error in mature audience category
Last night i tried to post 44 auctions to the mature audience category. They all failed with the following API error message. "The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy." None of the discriptions or titles have "bad" or lewd wording. API ERROR LISTING FOR DENIED POSTING..
I had gone around and around trying to figure out why ebay kept denying my listing. It was so frustrating! I listed a skeleton listing (no text or pics) to see if it would go through and it did. After I included my copied text from original listing it denied it again. I finally figured out that it was because i had the words "western union" in my shipping text. Ebay will not allow us to offer western union services or the words cash! They almost forced me to add paypal to my payment options.

Applying updated seller profile to active listings

I do not have an ebay store. I decided it wasn't worth it for me - I am a low volume seller just starting out. However, I am trying to practice with my auctiva store. THe problem is I can't seem to figure out how to get my listings to show up in my auctiva store categories.
